No complaints at all.

I chose Gure Lana intentionally for my return to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, and it exceeded every expectation. Christian and Genevieve are the kind of hosts who make you feel like you're coming home—their warmth is genuine, not performed. The property itself is beautiful, a perfect mix of Basque charm and real comfort, with every detail cared for in a way that feels effortless. Before or After walking the Camino, or simply visiting the Basque region on a holiday, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land: peaceful, welcoming, and deeply rooted in this special town.

Honestly, nothing. The only downside is that you won't want to leave.

Hosts were pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast.

Room was very hot due to the heat wave and no AC. Leaving windows open resulted in sleepless night due to mosquitoes - I wasn’t told about the plug-in repellent hidden in a drawer until the second day. Manageable for me, but the property is a longish walk from town.
