DeCharme apartment with terrace in Monti

Great location, safe and easy walking distance to a lot of places. Plenty of room, 2 small bathrooms, an iron and ironing board and a fairly well equipped kitchen.

No elevator so have to carry all your bags up stairs, air conditioning systems were filthy I had to clean them as the dust effected my sinuses badly. Washing machine connection doesn’t always work so required constant fiddling to get it to turn on. They did offer for the owner to come check it but we didn’t want the interruption and as the power outlet was working I think they would need to replace the machine.

Location was good. Close to tourist sights, train station, restaurants. It felt safe and secure. The patio gave it an open feel.

The shampoo and body wash provided were watered down and did not work well. Only enough warm shower water for a couple showers at a time. Water wasn’t ever hot.

Good location, well decorated. Has a nice terrace. It is well equipped and comfortable.

Whilst the sliding doors in the main bedroom are “tres chic” (they look like reclaimed railway wagon doors), they are extremely noisy to open, especially in the middle of the night. We decided to just leave them open. Additionally, whilst it didn’t affect us as we only had a small amount of rain, I think if it rained heavily, being in the main bedroom would sound like being inside a drum. Might be a bit noisy at night. Neither of these issues were a game-changer and the apartment is absolutely wonderful. We have already recommended it to friends looking to travel to Rome later in the year.

This was as beautiful as the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the terrace was perfect. Great location.

The advertisement said there was a washing machine but it didn’t work. Also, Saturday night was some kind of party above the terrace and it sounded like they were inside our bedroom.
