Beautiful house. Amazing rooms full of character. Great location overlooking the river. A very calming atmosphere. Beautiful warm pool. Great hosts Jez and Sue who gave us lots of useful information, such as a wonderful 8 km local walk starting from the house through unspoiled and peaceful woods. Fantastic breakfast. Definitely somewhere not to be missed.
Local places to eat which were walkable. The Hangar is a great place for simple food in a great atmosphere and is only a ten minute walk We stayed 5 days but could have stayed longer. Loads of chateaus in the area and Saumur is a gret little town on the River Loire and is only 15 mins away. There is also a local bus which runs to Saumur from outside the house.

A peaceful retreat from the hustle of everyday life. Fantastic outdoor spaces and remarkable garden! Could easily stay here for a week.
Being a little picky but a USB charging plug would be great, but not a deal breaker for us.
