A very comfortable stay. Bathroom and jacuzzi bath especially were wonderful. It was a novel experience, staying in a love hotel. It's a good option and highly affordable for couples. We visited over autumn festival weekend, when every other hotel in the town itself were extortionately expensive. This hotel was very affordable and very comfortable. You just need to research on love hotels before hand and go with the flow !
Location is tricky if you don't have your own car. We walked into town twice, which took around 40 mins. Was fine but might be tricky for some.

Very clean, many amenities provided, good wifi and very safe. Bed was very comfortable.
Staff doesn’t speak english. You need a car if you want to move around. Woke us up the 2nd day asking us to check out when we booked 2 nights but we explained and they agreed. Steep stairs to get into the room. No room key so you need to look for the staff every time you want to get in.

Clean rooms
Quite expensive due to what I assume is the takayama tourist tax. But the facilities are quite small and aged for what is an expensive stay.
