Modern facilities and excellent location within minutes to old town, Morning Market, cafe and eateries. Friendliest and kindest host who took us to nearby appointments when needed!

We had an amazing stay at SAkyozan. The home was extremely comfortable, very clean and the design was just gorgeous. In addition, there were so many small touches included in the home that showed how much the host cared about the comfort of her guests. We were travelling with parents and spent 4 nights there. The living and dining room area is very spacious and comfortable for us to spend time together as a family. The kitchen is very well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, an electric cooking hob, an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a dishwasher. We were very keen to find a place with a kitchen as it was important to us to be able to prepare some meals at home. There are two bedrooms and each bedroom had a small living room area as well as an ensuite - a lot of space for all of us. SAkyozan is very conveniently located and yet not situated on a busy street, which we preferred. It is also an easy walk from the home to most places in Takayama. We visited Takayama in February when it was still very cold and snowing but the home was always warm and cosy. It would also be remiss not to mention how wonderful the host is. She is very sweet, meticulous and simply went above and beyond just to help us with all of our requests. She is certainly as good, if not better than many 5-star hotel concierge and butler services. Initially, we were not sure if 4 nights would be too long for Takayama as it is a small town but we now wished we had stayed longer! We found Takayama to be a great place to be based for several day trips around the region, such as Shirakawago and Shinhotaka Ropeway.

There was really nothing that we did not like - In fact, the home, the host and just everything about our stay exceeded our expectations!

娘の家族に泊まってもらいました。自分で自分を評価しする形になりましたが、10点を頂けました。静かで快適に眠れたとおっしゃってくださいました。

אהבנו הכל!!!! המקום פשוט מושלם!!! בעלת המקום נחמדה בצורה שלא תאמן. היא דאגה לנו למסעדה בערב, הגיעה לקחת אותנו עם רכב מתחנת הרכבת, כאשר שמעה שלאחת מאתנו יש יום הולדת היא קנתה לה במיוחד עוגה. קשה לתאר כמה שהיא נחמדה. הבית עצמו מעוצב בשילוב יפני מסורתי עם נגיעה מודרנית חמה. הכל נקי, מוקפד, נעים, ונוח. אונסן מדהים בבית, מטבח מרהיב, ואפילו מכונת כביסה, מדיח ומיבש. מבחינת מיקום: הבית קרוב מאד למרכז העיר. תמורה מושלמת לתשלום, ושוב נדגיש את בעלת המקום שהיא אישה מקסימה. המקום אמנם לא במחיר נמוך, אבל נותן תמורה הרבה מעבר לתשלום ששילמנו. בוודאות נחזור לשם שוב!!!! ממליצים מאד לכל מי שרוצה לחוות חווית חיים ביפן.

לא אהבנו את הרגע שבו נאלצנו לעזוב את המקום. היינו מוכנים לגור שם תמיד.
