Lake Gaston Sunset Retreat is a beautifully appointed 3,800-square-foot waterfront home on a private one-acre point lot in the quiet Tangle Oaks community. Designed for families and friends to reconnect, the home features expansive indoor and outdoor gathering spaces with plenty of room to relax, unwind, and make lasting memories.
Whether you're planning a family vacation, a multi-family getaway, a fishing trip, a girls' weekend, or a peaceful couples retreat, you'll find everything you need for an unforgettable stay.
Designed for Gathering:
Some of our favorite memories have been made around the dining table, on the deck, and in the kitchen. Whether you're preparing a big family breakfast before heading out on the lake, grilling burgers after a day on the water, or enjoying dinner with the sunset as your backdrop, the home is designed to bring everyone together.
One of our favorite things about this home is that you never have to leave once you arrive. Start your morning with coffee on the deck, spend the afternoon swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, or fishing from the dock, cook dinner together in the fully stocked kitchen, then gather around the fire pit as the sun sets over the Main Lake.

This house had everything to make our stay comfortable and fun. We especially loved boating (rented a boat that we pulled up to the dock), swimming off the dock, and the kayaks/SUPs/canoe. S'mores by the firepit were awesome. The hosts were great, and had a list of recommended places to check out, which added some fun adventures for the weekend. We had a blast!
