This was my second time here and I absolutely love it! It is such a cozy stay with beautiful scenery. There are lots of place to sit and enjoy the ambiance. Radda is a close drive from the property, but I love soaking up time on site with it's gorgeous surroundings.
Our dinner was probably the most expensive of our time in Italy, and the most underwhelming.

The location of the hotel is on a vineyard about a mile from the village of Radda but to get these is a very difficult uphill walk. The hotel is small and quirky with some lovely features. The food is absolutely amazing and the home produced wine is excellent quality and value. The owners of the property are lovely and approachable. If you want to get around you either need a car or a taxi or arrange tours (taxis are quite expensive). We did some great tours even though we were only there for 3 days - Chiantilive is the website to use. Try the vespa tour!
It is hard to say but I guess if we were there longer and because we didnt have a car, we would have prefered to not be so remote.

Great location in the middle of Chianti. Easy to get in and out of and very easy parking! The staff was exceptional and treated us like family.
Isolated from anything else but this is also what we like as well.
