About this farm stay rental
Welcome to La Capanna @ Casa Volpino. A Tuscan farmhouse in the heart of the Chianti Region. Built over the old animal stalls, this cozy, newly renovated 1500 sq foot stone house is nestled in the picturesque hills between the medieval towns of Radda in Chianti and Volpaia. The area offers an abundance of old-world charm, spectacular views, and is ideally situated for exploring the regions wineries and famous Tuscan towns like Florence, San Gimignano, and Siena.
The main floor has a fully stocked kitchen and dining area with an original fireplace.
Our comfy living room is a perfect place to sit and chat. It features 2 sofas one of which is a double couch bed that sleeps 1 -2 people.
Off the living room, you will also find a laundry room with a washer and dryer and a full bathroom with a tub and shower.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite) with luxurious linens and beautiful views.
The garden includes a private pool, where you can relax and soak up the sun while enjoying the breathtaking views. Right off the kitchen, you will find a covered patio with a seating and dining area, perfect for al fresco meals and evening cocktails.
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for exploring Tuscany, this charming house will be just what you need.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU AND YOUR GUESTS WILL BE THE ONLY GUESTS ON THE PROPERTY. THE LARGER VILLA IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT AT THIS TIME.
Important Information Regarding local tourist tax and identification:
1. We are required by Italian law to collect identification from each guest before check-in. I will send an email or text message to you after the last deposit is paid, asking you to submit passport information for each guest.
2. There is a tourist tax required by law of 2 euros per person (over the age of 14) per night for the first 7 days of your booking We have decided to include this charge in the nightly rent. This avoids having to collect cash from you at check-in.

We had such a lovely stay in this incredibly peaceful and comfortable property. The surrounding views, including from the beautiful pool, are spectacular and the house itself was finished to a very high standard. A relatively short drive to Radda which is our favourite town in the region. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay - we did not want to leave! Our amazing host was communicative and helpful with our questions for recs in the area. She has thought of everything - from a well-stocked kitchen to hair dryers with diffusers. The villa is l gorgeous, we would love to return!

The place is even better then the pictures. It was truly magical. The perfect mix of charm and modern convinces. (Great AC, full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, great water temperate and pressure, strong wifi). Michelle was amazing at responding quickly throughout the entire process and we absolutely fell in love with the town of Radda. (So many amazing restaurants and lovely shop owners). We will be back and we have already told many of our friends. You will be blown away with beauty of it.

My husband and I have been renting from Vrbo for many years and our experience with Michelle has been the best of all of our experiences. She is always accessible for any communication. The villa is right out of a fairytale. The views will take your breath away. The landscape complete with fig trees and herbs is impeccable. The villa is absolutely amazing. The perfect mix of Tuscan charm and modern conveniences. There was nothing that we wanted for. The pool was our afternoon oasis. The kitchen and barbecue are so well equipped. We made fabulous Tuscan dinners after shopping in the lovely local markets. The local towns of Radda (which you can see from the property) and Volpaia are a complete delight!!! We are avid cyclist, and we rented bikes, and it is the perfect launch for amazing rides all throughout the local countryside. Our only mistake was only staying for two weeks. We cannot wait to come back and stay longer. And to you, Michelle, I can’t thank you enough for all your kindness and you efforts in making this an unforgettable and incredible experience for us.
