About this house rental

“Our little house on the corner” was built in 1954. We totally remodeled it this spring for short term renting. The upstairs is now a master suite and two bedrooms are on the first floor. You will not be disappointed with the style and decor. Everything is new but the hardwood refinished floors. If you are traveling through Gallia County for a wedding, reunion, party or just vacationing you will enjoy our home. No other persons will share the home with you. Bob Evans Farm Restaurant, Merry Family Winery, GreenValley Gathering Place are all just minutes away. Downtown Gallipolis is just a quick drive too.

The daily rate is for two adults and each additional adult is 25.00 per night. There is no charge for children under 16. There is a small one time cleaning fee of 35.00 for the downstairs and an additional 20.00 if upstairs is used also. This too is a one time charge.

We NOW have wi-fi!

Parking is by the yellow building on the gravel.

It was a nice cozy place to stay. My daughter wanted to come see the Mothman Museum for her bday she is into the history of the Mothman. This was a perfect little stay. We also saw the Gallipolis lights. They were beyond magical.

My band played at Rio Grande University and we rented this house so we didn’t have to drive back to Columbus that night. The house was clean and well appropriated with everything one would need including extra tooth brushes in case you forgot one. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our overnight stay at “Our Little House on the Corner.” We were in town for one night to attend a wedding, and the house had everything we (5 of us) needed. We chose this VRBO because it was the perfect location for this trip. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bedrooms it fit the bill. One of those places that look small on the outside but plenty of room inside. We were in need of nothing. We all agree we will come back.

We were actually in the Little Retro House in town in Gallipolis instead of the Little house on the corner due to a circumstance so I can only speak to the Little Retro House. It was an amazing little house. It was very comfortable and easy walking to the town park and little town area and we ended up right next door to family that was in town for the family funeral we came for so that was a nice unexpected bonus. We would absolutely stay here again! The host is very responsive and easy to work with. I hope you all enjoy!

This was a great house for my teenage daughter and her friend. The two girls got their own rooms on the main floor and would hang out in the living room. I took the spacious upstairs bedroom, with a TV and bathroom. The girls liked having their own space to hang out. This house worked great for us. It was near Point Pleasant for our Mothman visit. Both teens want to go back next year.

This was such a great location for our stay as our daughter graduated from the University of Rio Grande. And was soo close to Gallipolis area and we will definitely come back to the area and hope to stay at this property or another one of Beth’s homes! For nearly 20 years my aunts and I have wanted to attend the Bob Evans Farm Festival and we were finally able to do so this year. We managed to get very lucky and found this lovely little house in the country which made our dream trip perfect! This was a charming little home full of character set in the beautiful countryside. We absolutely loved the cattle farm just down the road! Our check in and check out process was so simple and at any point we had a question, we knew we would get a response back very quickly. We absolutely loved our stay! It really made our dreams come true!
