About this house rental

“Our little house on the corner” was built in 1954. We totally remodeled it this spring for short term renting. The upstairs is now a master suite and two bedrooms are on the first floor. You will not be disappointed with the style and decor. Everything is new but the hardwood refinished floors. If you are traveling through Gallia County for a wedding, reunion, party or just vacationing you will enjoy our home. No other persons will share the home with you. Bob Evans Farm Restaurant, Merry Family Winery, GreenValley Gathering Place are all just minutes away. Downtown Gallipolis is just a quick drive too.

The daily rate is for two adults and each additional adult is 25.00 per night. There is no charge for children under 16. There is a small one time cleaning fee of 35.00 for the downstairs and an additional 20.00 if upstairs is used also. This too is a one time charge.

We NOW have wi-fi!

Parking is by the yellow building on the gravel.

It was a nice cozy place to stay. My daughter wanted to come see the Mothman Museum for her bday she is into the history of the Mothman. This was a perfect little stay. We also saw the Gallipolis lights. They were beyond magical.

My band played at Rio Grande University and we rented this house so we didn’t have to drive back to Columbus that night. The house was clean and well appropriated with everything one would need including extra tooth brushes in case you forgot one. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our overnight stay at “Our Little House on the Corner.” We were in town for one night to attend a wedding, and the house had everything we (5 of us) needed. Beds were comfortable, communication with owner was exceptional, and ease of checking in and checking out was excellent. Highly recommend.

We chose this VRBO because it was the perfect location for this trip. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bedrooms it fit the bill. One of those places that look small on the outside but plenty of room inside. We were in need of nothing. We all agree we will come back.

This was a great house for my teenage daughter and her friend. The two girls got their own rooms on the main floor and would hang out in the living room. I took the spacious upstairs bedroom, with a TV and bathroom. The girls liked having their own space to hang out. This house worked great for us. It was near Point Pleasant for our Mothman visit. Both teens want to go back next year.

This was such a great location for our stay as our daughter graduated from the University of Rio Grande. And was soo close to Gallipolis area and we will definitely come back to the area and hope to stay at this property or another one of Beth’s homes! She was so prompt to respond and answer questions as needed. As well as being very thorough in her explanation and expectations of the stay!

Was way more than I expected. Well located on a 2 lane highway house was neat and clean with many extras to use I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area and the house is available.
