This beautiful renovated 3 bedroom is located on the quiet side of Canadohta Lake.

Just a 300 foot walk from the 3/4 acre private lakefront property with dock and pavilion and a short drive to the busy side of the lake where you can enjoy the Canadohta Roller Rink, Putt-R-Golf, free beach or the water slide at The Frog Pond.

Plenty of places to eat around the area as well including the The Anchor Bar and Grill, Happy Jax, The Frog Pond, Lana's on the Lake or The Bear Inn. The city of Erie is less than an hour away where you can enjoy all the shopping and adventures your heart can desire.

When all the fun day activities are wrapped up and it's time to unwind, relax by the fire pit while roasting a few marshmallows with friends and family, or hang out by the lake and enjoy the peace and serenity of nature.

My family and I stayed at The Blue Jay for the weekend to celebrate my grandson's 9th birthday. It was the perfect size for our family, very clean and cozy as well. It provided the perfect space for a weekend getaway for some much needed family time. The large table in the kitchen was perfect for playing games, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evening just enjoying time together. Additionally, some of the family went fishing, used the paddle boat and kayak, and just enjoyed the lake component. Very peaceful. We would definitely stay again!

Blue Jay was amazing!!! Everything you need to come and enjoy family time. I am so happy that we found this cabin. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and game nights. Beds were very comfortable. The lake side space was so peaceful and perfect for the kids to fish. It was a little to cold to swim but we did enjoy the paddle boat and kayak. We are already planning our next trip!!!

I would highly recommend this rental! It was like a home away from home, spacious, inviting and memorable. The 2 fire pits/chairs were perfect spots for morning coffee and evening lakeside views. I enjoyed floating around the lake in the paddle boat and the private pavilion was great to play Yahtzee while it rained. We found the ice cream shops to be great for evening snacks and the miniature golf course was fun! We needed a chance to relax, and this was definitely the perfect spot for us!

We totally enjoyed our stay at The Blue Jay at Canadohta Lake. It was spotless when we arrived and we felt very welcome. It was our 3rd year in a row staying there and never fails to impress us. From the morning breakfast to the evening campfire every day we loved our stay at The Blue Jay.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Blue Jay. Cottage was large and spacious. Loved having two fire pits. Lake access away was great. The mattresses on the beds were amazing. Would like to know the manufacturer. All the guests loved them. Brandan is great to work with. Highly recommend and definitely will go back.

We have stayed at this property many times. Each time we are greeted with new updates. The property is clean and well kept, and we keep coming back which is the best compliment in my mind. The owner is readily available and quick to respond if and when needed. Look forward to visiting for many more years to come!

I can see that this would be a good place for a family, as there is plenty of space to spread out. It's kind of big for one person though, and I thought that maybe rates should be adjusted accordingly. It's a walk to the shelter on the beach, but the view from there is quite nice. There are a lot of attractions close by, and Blue Jay would serve nicely for a base.

I grew up going to Canadohta Lake for the summers when I was growing up back in the 70's and 80's and its been years since I have been back. Its just the way I remembered it. This was a great property with plenty of room to move around. It also has a private area right on the lake to build a fire or get sit around on the chairs to enjoy the view. Plenty of shade to stay out of the sun. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for an awesome stay.

You couldn't ask for a better house and location than The Blue Jay offers. Well maintained with all the amenities you need. This is the first time I've stayed at Blue Jay, on the "quiet side" of the lake, although the lake has been an important part of my family for decades. It provided the meditative, nature-loving solitude that I was looking for to recharge. I booked late, taking the last few days in August, and wish my stay had been longer.

This place is great. Very clean and supplied. It comfortably fit 8 of us plus our two dogs. Huge kitchen table for everyone to sit at. We loved the lakefront area. Fire pit and pavilion, a dock, paddle boat. Plus kayak and floaties provided. All you need to bring is towels, blankets and food! We loved it here!

My family and I had so much fun. The bluejay is adorable. The kitchen and living room are large enough for a big family to hang out in on a rainy day for some board game fun. My kids didn't complain once about having no wifi. Fishing in the morning, boating all day then relaxing around either of the fire pits all evening.

My 14 year old daughter and 3 of her pals just had a busy softball season, followed up by volleyball camp. Its hard to get to far away with all of our busy schedules. A few days sitting near the lake and watching the fire was just what they needed. They also took some walks to Happi Jax, the Anchor, and Lincan. The Blue Jay at Lake Canadohta was a great home that will sleep 8 comfortably. Although there was only 2 of us and we ate all our meals out, all the amenities were available so you didn't need to go out at all. Very clean and felt at home right away. Just about everything you need is right along the lake. Either campfires at the house or down by the lake. Highly recommend The Blue Jay.

We had a lovely time at the Blue Jay! The weather was crisp but sunny. The stars at night were spectacular! We had campfires at night at the house and during the day at the lake. We purchased wood from VanTassels Timberland bait shop. Very reasonable! Hope to return!

We have rented the Blue Jay several times. That in itself is a great review and compliment to the rental and owner. We find the home to me comfortable for our family ages 3-68! Love the new dock, furnishings and firepit! Great getaway!

The cabin is bigger than we thought. It allowed privacy for everyone. Having 3 bedrooms was wonderful. At first, we thought having the gazebo a slight walk away was weird, but we actually loved walking to it and having a dock to float next to. The only thing we suggested was to have a picnic table by the cabin, in case you don't want to take food to the gazebo. Brandon responded immediately to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

This was a good place for us to stay because there was a lot to do we went to Grove city shopping, we went out to eat a few times, and we enjoyed the fire pit. We are going to build one when we get home.
