About this apartment rental
This bright and charming apartment of 70 square meters is located in the centre of Praiano on the Amalfi Coast. The owner renovated it completely in March 2019. To reach it you have to climb just 14 steps.
From the two terraces you have an amazing view of the coastline with Positano on your right hand and the island of Capri (according to the weather conditions). The terraces are equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs. You enter them either from the bedrooms or from the kitchen.
Casa Palma 2 consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with fully enclosed shower and hairdryer, one kitchen with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay: gas cooker, dishwasher, electric oven, fridge and freezer, American style coffee maker, kettle, a table for 6 guests, a sofa which unfolds into a double divan bed, a television and many other useful appliances. A second bathroom with fully enclosed shower, hairdryer and a laundry room with iron and ironing board complete the furnishings.
You will find the closest grocery at 200 meters, the SITA bus stop n. 5 at 90 meters and the rocky beach of La Gavitella at 500 meters. There isb the parking also for large cars.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The location, in Praiano, was perfect in that it was between Amalfi and Positano which are both very crowded. The property was exactly how it was described, extremely clean, comfortable, easily accessible, had everything you would need, the views..........stunning and Gemma was charming!

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Gemma met us and showed us around. It would’ve been very helpful if we spoke better Italian but she was very kind and welcoming. The apartment was clean and spacious. It is listed as a 3 bedroom which it is not. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware and some necessities. We did have to buy our own coffee. One thing to note was that the bigger bedroom with the balcony shares a wall with Gemma’s apartment. We could hear her and often it was more noise than we would like at night and early morning. The neighborhood has some restaurants and cafes as well as a market. Beware that walking to anything is precarious as the road is narrow and winding with busy traffic. We went to a lovely service at the nearby beautiful church. We also walked up to the Path of The Gods right from the street near the apartment. There is also a bus stop right outside. This apartment was a great deal for the money and the view from the balcony was spectacular!

We loved our few days in Praiano. A couple of notes. First, the location of the apartment has limited beach access. There is a beautiful private beach club located just down the mountain (approximately 300 steps) that we enjoyed on 2 separate occassions. However, it is extremely expensive (100 euros per adult and 60 euros per child (we are family of 5). If you are looking for a free beach, there is one located on the opposite side of town (about a 30 minute walk or 10 minute cab ride which will cost you 40 euros each way). These were the downsides to Praiano. With that being said, it is postcard beautiful and the apartment has an absolutley love and large balcony over looking the ocean and Positano. We loved our landlady. She is very sweet. She speaks no English, but is able to effectively communicate on how the apartment functions (running dishwasher, etc). Also, she was kind enough to make us a wonderful tiramisu which was a hit with our kids. Downside to apartment - the primary bedroom shares a wall with the owner's home. A very thin wall and you can hear everything. Bathrooms are large for European standards and everything is updated very nicely.
