Attention HomeAway'ers!! Brick 2 story 3bd/3.5ba SFH in Grand Boulevard!! Home features: brick paved entry, hardwood floors, crown molding, fireplaces, gourmet kitchen w/granite countertops & cherry wood cabinets, guest bath w/double sink vanity.
The home is located in historic Bronzeville. Bronzeville's 20th century resurgence, which rivaled the Harlem Renaissance, is responsible for tremendous cultural and social advances. Pulitzer Prize recipient Gwendolyn Brooks, civil rights activist Ida B. Wells, and legendary musician Louis Armstrong were profoundly responsible for the area's development and subsequent cultural crusade, which included advances in civil rights, jazz, blues and gospel music as well.
I am seeking someone/couple to comply with basic norms of peaceful, respectful, communal, and legal behavior. By making a deposit, you are agreeing to all terms & conditions, as outlined here, for this shared space:
1. No smoking, inside or out, a smoke free property.
2. Extra guests are not welcome. Anyone other than the Guest booking, may not be admitted to the property at any time.
3. The Property is a private residence; the Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that the Guest is expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. Additional guests are not allowed without homeowners consent and additional charges will applied, if allowed. Late check-out & Early check-in fees may apply up to full nightly rate. You may be required to provide two (2) social media profiles to assist in verifying your identity(prior to check-in) along with a valid photo identification card, driver’s license, or passport (at the time of check-in). No weapons, no contraband, no firearms, no animals.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended purposes. (The sofa is not an extra bed)
6. Guest agrees not to download any unlawful content from the internet while using the wifi provided by the Homeowner.
7. Check-in after 3pm & Check-out before 11 am.
8. Lost keys incur a $100 surcharge.
9. No flushable wipes or feminine products in the toilet -- ONLY toilet tissue
10. No shoes with heels or hard bottoms on the Brazilian Cherrywood floors
You must also acknowledge:

Some spaces are shared
The host lives on the property, which is about 5,000 sq feet.
The property is equipped with security alarm and 24-hour safety and security video on the exterior and interior (facing entry and exit points—similar to a hotel). NO security video equipment is located in private areas such as bedrooms or restrooms or areas leading to private areas such as connecting hallways.

We loved the location of the house.
It was perfect for our stay in Chicago.
Minutes away from a trendy Hyde Park with its restaurants and bars, and a shorth drive to Chicago downtown and all it has to offer.
The whole house is beautifully furnished and decorated, hardwood floor through entire house gives that feeling of luxury on every step.
Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and a big screen TV. We had our privite full size bathroom with a large tub and her and his sinks.
Large kitchen with high end appliances has everything you need if you decide to prepare your meal.
Living room is adjecnt to the kitchen and has a large screen TV mounted on the wall and a very comfy sofa and a chair.
Our host Brandon is a Chicago native and was very kind and helpful. He made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, adviced us where to go and what to visit, and even drove us around and took us for dinner.
We made a life long friend. Thank you Brandon for making our stay a memorable one. You are a super host.
