About this cabin rental
Our cabin is the perfect location to call "home" for your vacation or weekend getaway. Located in the San Isabel National Forest with Chalk Creek access across the street. Sit on the front deck and enjoy the sound of flowing water, walk across the street to test your fishing skills or grill and hang out on the back patio with the gas fire-pit. Either location will provide wildlife viewing.
Ride your ATV, dirt bikes, side-by-side or snowmobiles directly from the cabin. Tin Cup pass is 1000 feet away to take you on your daily adventures.
We are located 16.5 miles West of Nathrop, CO in the city limits of the historical Ghost Town of St. Elmo, Colorado on County Road 294. There is very limited traffic on the road out front as it is primarily used by residents to get to their cabins.
Our cabin has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining room and a comfortable front room. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare your meals.
For your safety carbon monoxide/smoke detectors have been installed in both bedrooms and common area.
*Unplug and enjoy your vacation! We DO NOT have internet, Wi-Fi or a landline. We do provide an internet type phone for your use and the number is posted beside the phone.
We do have exterior video cameras at the front and back of the cabin.

Had a wonderful time in this remote cabin in the mountains. Everything we needed was available. Beds are comfortable. House was clean and decorated well, you can tell the owners truly love this space. Close to St Elmo, we walked a couple of times. Saw moose, snow shoe hares, deer, pronghorn, marmots and of course chipmunks! Good hiking and OHV trails close. If you want to unplug and enjoy nature, this is the place to be.

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. It’s such a great place for 2 couples coming to the area for off-roading. We access the trail system right from the house! Cozy, well-stocked, and beautiful scenery!

Cozy and quiet cabin. Perfect location to ride SxS trails. It’s very clean, mattresses were very comfortable and kitchen well stocked for cooking. Great outdoor area. Hosts were very responsive. We will definitely be staying here again if we decide to go back to the St. Elmo area. Thank you!
