Alii Kai 5301 occupies a prime top floor corner because you enter the building at the second floor level, you've got just 13 steps to climb to reach your door! Inside this updated and fully air-conditioned Princeville condo you'll find elegant appointments and comfortable tropical furniture. The kitchen has been beautifully upgraded - plenty of countertop and island space if you want to stay in and cook. Washer and dryer are right in the condo. There's a remodeled and spacious master bathroom to make you feel pampered and special. You won't mind an occasional rainy day at this north shore Kauai condo. It's a pleasure to stay in and relax, enjoy the view - even watch for whales during the winter months - and savor the peace and privacy of this perfect top floor corner location. All of our Kauai vacation rentals at Alii Kai are 1200 square feet with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a private lanai. At Alii Kai 5301 you'll find a king bed in the main suite, a queen bed in the guest bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room, providing the ability to sleep up to 6 people.
In addition to the unobstructed ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms, you've also got great mountain views and can even see Bali Hai. Lie in bed and watch the waves roll in or fall asleep to the sounds of the surf at night - - yes, you can admire the view without even getting out of bed! The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a queen bed. Cable TV, telephone, and free wifi are provided. Complex includes a swimming pool. There is a shared gas barbecue grill which our guests are welcome to use. Cook up your catch of the day or throw on some fresh Kauai beef burgers.
You'll be delighted with our Alii Kai resort condo's convenient location. It's under two miles to shopping and dining at the Princeville Shopping Center. You'll find casual dining at Hideaways Pizza Pub and oceanfront fine dining at the Princeville St Regis just over a mile away. The scenic town of Hanalei and the great beach at Hanalei Bay are 10 minutes away, Anini beach 10 minutes away, and other attractions like botanical gardens, horseback riding, and ziplining are also nearby.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

The view was outstanding! We watched a lot of whales swim by and enjoyed the sounds of the waves. The place was very clean and spacious with pleasant decor. We had 2 couples and we each had our own bedroom with a great view of the ocean and our own bathroom. The kitchen had a lot of dishes, pots and appliances to cook with. It does not have a BBQ on the deck but a community use BBQ is close by. The fridge had a ice maker and there are a couple of cooler bags to borrow to take drinks etc on a road trip or to the beach, which was handy. There is a washer and dryer in the unit if needed. I really liked the walk in closet in the master bedroom to put your suitcase in and have less mess of luggage everywhere. The unit had great air flow and we found it cooled off nicely in the evening with the windows opened. We found the accommodation very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Absolutely enchanting! I could watch the water all day.. we saw so many whales! Beds were pretty comfortable and everything was clean and beautiful. Sofa was comfortable to watch a movie on in the evening. Lots of books and some games available to use. Didn’t have any trouble at all with bugs. Water was nice and hot and plenty of linens and towels. Would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning rental! Quiet and peaceful, overlooking the ocean- tons of privacy and really high quality place. Even the bedding and towels felt bougie. 10/10 will definitely stay here again, next time, for the entire trip instead of breaking it up. Smaller bedroom had a not so comfy bed, and the front door is tricky, but everything was wonderful.

I would say the check-in process for this rental unit made me uneasy because I wasn’t sure what surprises or potential issues might come up. My vacation is meant for relaxing, not for reading contracts and worrying about unexpected terms.The rental listing never mentioned anything about a separate contract. However, after I booked the unit and paid the non-refundable fee, I received an email stating that I had to sign a contract in order to receive the check-in information. I’ve never encountered such a process with any of my previous vacation bookings.They should clearly include this requirement in the listing so potential guests know they must sign a contract before paying a non-refundable fee.Because of this check-in process, I would not recommend this rental unit to others — although the unit itself is good.
