About this house rental

Charming house (95m2) renovated in 2018, located in the district of Rocabey in Saint-Malo, close to all amenities and enjoying a small walled garden facing south, and a private garage.
Although the rental is located in a quiet area, all amenities are easily accessible on foot to allow you to "forget" the car in the garage during the holidays. So, you will find:
- the Corsair City (Intra-Muros and its ramparts) at 1,4km and
- the large beach of Sillon and many restaurants 450m
- the TGV station and the media library at 600m
- Intermarché, a large market (2 times a week), the post office, the pharmacy, doctors about 200m
- a bakery and banks within 100m.
Three bus lines accessible to 200m serve the entire agglomeration.

House on 3 levels composed of:
• rdc:
- entrance giving on a closed garden
- large living room with a living room (sofa, coffee table, flat screen TV, library), a dining room opening onto the other small garden facing south
- fully equipped American kitchen with new appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator, induction hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, raclette, blender, robot) also overlooking this garden

• 1st floor:
- bedroom 1: double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables
- bedroom 2: 140 bed, wardrobe, bedside tables, flat screen TV
- bathroom / wc: washbasin, bathtub, heated towel rail, bath screen for shower, cupboard, hair dryer
- balcony: chairs, table

• 2nd floor:
- bedroom 3: bed 140, wardrobe, bedside tables, large storage, tables, chairs, rocking chair
- on request: children's umbrella bed, cradle and baby equipment (high chair, dishes, changing mat, bathtub and bed linen)
- landing with storage (vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board)
2nd bathroom (sink, shower, toilet and towel radiator).

All beds are equipped with a mattress protector, a duvet and two pillows.

Heating (electric heaters)

The small walled garden without vis-à-vis close, you will enjoy barbecue meals with family or friends.
A cellar is accessible from the garden (washing machine, freezer (105litres) and 6 bikes with locks available, chairs, table, parasol, barbecue).
Independent outdoor toilet.

    As most properties in France , you pay for everything, which in most places, would be included. So beds were made and towels provided ( you pay for it on arrival). We had to sort out the daily tax and the electricity rate ( at 11:30 pm). We were so tired, all we wanted was to have a cup of tea. Three was none, but Françoise left us wit a bottle of cider and locally baked biscuits, which we devoured as soon as she left us. I did suggest to her that it would be nice to have a basic things in the house for people arriving from abroad. Françoise was very kind and tried hard to assist us, so we were happy with our stay. The house is old, but very homely with a small backyard , a shed at the back for (washing machine, freezer- not needed in Winter, plenty of bikes (no helmets) an extra outdoor toilet. It had 2 bedrooms + bathroom (1st floor) and a large bedroom and bathroom at the attic(2nd floor). The steps were very difficult to manage with a toddler and a 8 month old baby. Street parking was free and quite easy go find. There is a garage available around the corner to the house, but it's very difficult to get in and out, with a large vehicle. The toddler loved the church bells ringing. Françoise invited us to visit her hobby farm, so that the children could see some farm animals.

    The house is tidy and nice as shown on the pictures. The location close to old town, the sea, stores and market is perfect. A wonderful choice to stay in pretty St. Malo!

    Very well appointed house, near to all amenities. Easy parking. System for deposit for damages not convenient for UK renters. Would be easier if paid via Vrbo.

    The location is excellent, and the house offers a combination of classic french styles with all of the conveniences that you need. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds, if a bit snug (they are doubles). We visited in May and there were times when it was quite warm, so in the height of the summer months, a fan would definitely be needed. The electricity is a separate charge and for our week, it was 50 euros. The garden is lovely, but it could be difficult to find a big enough place to sit and enjoy the sunshine; there are no deckchairs, which might be a helpful addition. Mme Le Feuvre was very helpful and checked in to see if there was anything that we needed. She also gave us details of where to go locally, as well as further afield. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and the beautiful beach is less than 10 minutes walk.

    Maison au calme, très bien situé et équipé. Nous étions avec 3 enfants (23,18 et 6ans) et tout le monde était très content. Mme Lefeuvre la propriétaire est très accueillante et plein de bons conseils
