About this house rental
The detached vacation home with garden and spacious terrace is located in the forest holiday park in Gerolstein in the middle of the Eifel, about 16 km west of Daun and 34 km from the garrison town of Ulmen.
Whether fragrant greenery or winter snowy landscape, here you can enjoy your vacation all year round. A barbecue is available on request and for a fee at the service office. Cribs and chairs can be rented for a fee (advance reservation required).
Gerolstein is centrally located between Trier, Koblenz and Bonn, so your accommodation is an excellent starting point for day trips. Highly recommended is a trip to the oldest city in Germany, Trier. Here you can experience the history of the Romans up close and enjoy the old town with a nice glass of Moselle wine.
The game park in Daun is also an experience for young and old. A large variety of animals as well as play facilities for the little ones are at your disposal.
Upon arrival, you will receive a discount booklet for the city of Gerolstein from the friendly Dutch landlords. This gives you free access to museums and you get discounts on various activities.
The park also offers a wide range of leisure activities (for a fee). You can swim your laps in the large indoor pool and then unwind in the sauna. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the Eifel landscape. For the little ones there is a petting zoo, a giant chess game, mini golf and a tennis court. On rainy days, the newly designed central building offers a billiards, air field hockey and other games.
In the restaurant of the park you can enjoy a varied menu, typical Dutch dishes and also the Eifel and its home cooking.
