Holiday house for juniper heath
In the heart of the Vulkaneifel, in the small community of Bleckhausen, lies at approx. 500 meters above sea level. 0, between the two rivers Kleine Kyll and Lieser, your holiday home with an impressive view of the surrounding mountains. The comfortably equipped, Eifel typical farmhouse, built in 1856, with approx. 100 sqm living space, was renovated in 2016. With all work on and in the house we were always careful to preserve the charm and origin of the house. Furniture in the country house style, such as paintings, old and new Eifel painters, reflect the spirit of the house and the surroundings.
Your holiday home has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, as well as a cozy seating area and a small sink on the upper floor. The second with an extra large double bed, length 220 cm, width 200 cm and another bedroom with a single bed on the first floor. If necessary and with an occupancy of 6 people, an additional bed is added. Bed linen can be provided.
The large living room with fireplace, large TV with Sky, WiFi and CD system is on the first floor. From here you have a wonderful view of the heights of the Vulkaneifel.
The bathroom with shower and tub is also on the first floor.
On the ground floor is the cozy dining room (Heidestube) with a peasant corner bench and paintings of the heath, field and hall. From the well-equipped kitchen you can access the terrace, from where you can enjoy the miles of views.
The fenced plot of approx. 900 sqm is ideal for your four-legged friend.
A well-kept playground with lots of play equipment is not far from the house.
Due to the central location of Bleckhausen, excursions in all directions are worthwhile, whether to the Moselle or to the old Roman city of Trier, to Luxembourg or to the Nürburgring. The Eifel is a worthwhile destination in all seasons. However, especially in autumn, when the deer rearing begins, you can take wonderful hikes and, with a little luck, hear the roar of the deer or even see a red deer. The hike on the Lieserpfad is recommended here, this route with an alpine character is particularly worthwhile from Manderscheid (2 km). The Eifelmaare and the Gerolsteiner Dolomites are only a few kilometers away.
The juniper heath:
The 3-hectare juniper area, which has been protected since 1937, gave the holiday home its name. This bitter beauty is the greatest of its kind in the Eifel. You can reach the heath on a short hike directly from the house.
The house costs 60, - € - 70, - € per night for 2 people
