Open studded walls and some antique furnishings add to the charm and character of this summer cottage. Pull up a rocking chair on the front porch and relax for a while. You can see the ocean just down the street. Enjoy morning walks and evening strolls along the Shore Road where you'll experience the rocky coast of Maine with sea life, light houses, crashing waves, and sea spray in the air. The Ocean Point community center is just around the corner where kids and adults can play tennis and enjoy daily planned activities and gatherings. The community center also has a playground for kids. Ocean Point is located nearby to Boothbay harbor, which offers fine dining, and harbor cruises, schooner trips, whale watching, and clam bakes. Well maintained and wellStocked with essentials. Everything was as described and comfortable for our family vacation. The rocking chair porch with ocean views and breezes was the best! Excellent value for price paid

Maintaining the historical nature of the cottage is sentimentally endearing, however physically uncomfortable. Seating and beds made it difficult to rest and relax. The tiny electric stove and vintage kitchen tools made cooking a challenge. However, the short walking distance to the rocky coastline was delightful.
