Sea Haven at Ocean Point

Our second trip to Sea Haven and it seemed better than the last! Maybe because we hit zero traffic getting there, maybe because it was now familiar and we settled in within an hour of arriving, or maybe the fantastic new coffee maker , whatever it was our stay was so peaceful and happy. We even brought our senior pup and he settled right in with no problems. He became so at home, that when the fireworks upset him at the beach, he ran right back to the house and sat on the porch waiting for us. Everything was clean and we love the eclectic feel of the house with all the antiques. Beds are comfy and the house has everything you'll need! And I can't say enough about that front porch breeze! I spent my mornings out there in the warm sun with coffee in my jammies and my evenings with a glass of wine in my sweaters from the cool breeze. We spent a lot of time watching the beautiful resident Blue Heron and the mated Ospreys down at Grimes Cove! I'm becoming a bird lady at the rip old age of 50 We visited the Botanical Gardens this trip and chartered a fishing trip with Mainetain Charters! It was such a great time for our whole Family. We love our stays at Sea Haven!

Great spot - clean and very guest friendly. very responsive to any issues that arise. Recommended!

Maintaining the historical nature of the cottage is sentimentally endearing, however physically uncomfortable. Seating and beds made it difficult to rest and relax. The tiny electric stove and vintage kitchen tools made cooking a challenge. However, the short walking distance to the rocky coastline was delightful.
