The property was not very clean upon arrival. My husband even commented on it which says a lot. I did not alert property management because we had unloaded everything from the car and it would inconvenience us more to get out so they could come back and clean so we just cleaned it. There wasn’t a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags.
The paperwork emailed to us for check in is outdated - it said there would be parking passes on entry table and wi-fi password on top of router. Neither were there. When I called property management company, they had already closed at 1 pm for the day (this was on a Saturday which I imagine is the most popular check in day).
There are some weird “rules” in the condo…for example, most of the drinking glasses are plastic and there is a sign saying they must be hand washed. Frustrating because no one wants to hand wash dishes on vacation. Also, lots of extra comforters on top of master closet and a sign saying they can’t be used. The check in paperwork says to not put sandy clothes in the washing machine under any circumstances. I think the owners forgot they own a place at the beach and people are coming there to vacation.
That being said, this 3 bedroom condo was significantly cheaper than other ones on the property, so maybe it’s a “you get what you pay for” situation.
