Le Nuove Cadreghe Apartments

The apartment was comfortable and in a good location, easily walkable to the river, the main streets of the historic district and the Piazza Erbe. We found it fitted our needs for our trip - clean, comfy and tidy. The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night. We could occasionally hear the upstairs apartment, but not enough to disturb us and we found the air con brilliant. We liked the coffee machine and made full use of it with our own prepped breakfasts before a day exploring. Communication with host was good, and they very kindly let us check in a little earlier in the afternoon. The local restaurants are extremely tasty and good value too. The Sunday antique market in San Zero was brilliant, well worth a visit, as was funicular up the hill.

Not so good bits, I have to agree with previous reviews, although the apartment was definitely clean and tidy, it is ‘tired’ and needs a revamp, lots of marks and paint chips on walls, needs some new furniture, table and chairs chipped and damaged in places, as is the coffee table, and the cover over the futon is marked; albeit clean. The bathroom was clean and shower water hot, however the bathroom needs a good descale and potentially new hand shower head.

Bed too short for my partner who is 6’7” Lighting is weird too bright in main area but very dim in bathroom. Can hear footsteps from apartment above.

Location was perfect; the apartment was very clean and practical . The hosts were very responsive and the access was easy and secure. It was quiet despite being central, and the aircon was very effective as it was hot when we were there.

Possibly a spare set of towels as we were there for 7 days; also some T towels to dry bowls etc. Only one glass!

It was very cheaply furnished and even then, the table and chairs were damaged. The bathroom was tired. The Wi-Fi signal was dismal
