Great property, quirky rooms and fabulous dinner and bar. Quite pricey but v quiet this time of year. Breakfast is delivered in a picnic box outside your room each morning. Staff were excellent and the property unusual but classy.
Not a huge amount to do in the vicinity but who cares just chill! TV has no streaming or satellite and at this level of hotel is a little disappointing.

The food and drink at dinner was exceptionally good and even better value for money too! Especially accommodating staff after a long drive from London with 2 young children
Problematic air conditioning overnight, and breakfast back in the restaurant would have been preferred to room service option if possible

The room was very comfortable.
The grounds were extremely tired and there was a lot of dog poo, even next to our extremely tired sunloungers. There was also a local party which started at 10pm and ended at 5am which was very loud. We had not been pre warned about this party and, although we were invited, with two young children, that wasn’t realistic. The children were kept awake until the early hours of the morning which meant we were too. The manager was so hungover the next morning she couldn’t deal with our check out and suggested we just leave and she would deal directly with booking.com for payment.
