Hôtel de la Poste

The room was modern and clean. The bonus was air conditioning which was a Godsend in the middle of a heat wave. The Bed was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good not just jam and croissants but fresh juice and continental meats and cheeses. Parking was easy behind the hotel.

The wasn't a fridge in the room which would have been good for storing bottled water. Likewise there was no safe or kettle.

The room was modern and clean, and (eventually) the air conditioning got to 20C. The location was good as well. There was a husband and wife team running this new hotel - however, the man was always angry, aggressively doing the minimum, and barking out responses in French. No smiles, no attempt to understand English and seeing us as interlopers in his domain. The AC in our room wasn't working when we arrived. He just said (in French) there is nothing I can do, the technician is coming. The body language was " stop asking me". When his wife came back several hours later, we appealed to her, not knowing at that time if the guy we dealt with was just the bartender or other. She got the technician to come in and we had working AC that night. Othrrwise the tech was not scheduled to arrive for 4 days, so hubby was not trying to help. I would not stay here again, but perhaps the man of the house will eventually figure out what is good for his customers is good for him.

Zentral, sauber, renoviert, schönes Bad, sehr bequemes grosses Bett, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Extrem laut wegen stark befahrener Strasse, schlafen ohne Ohrstöpsel nicht möglich. Wirt spricht nur französisch, ist nicht der höflichste.
