Location is great. Condo is a good size for two or three people. Decently equipped kitchen. Mattress is the master bedroom was very comfortable. Living room furniture was also comfortable. Master bath had good water pressure in the shower.

The unit could have been cleaner - the kitchen, specifically, had some issues with not being clean behind the sink at the backsplash, the dishes and cookware ranged from questionable to not at all clean, the bathroom rug needs to be washed or replaced, and the washing machine had enough mold issues inside that I had to clean it with bleach before I would even think about putting anything in it. On checkout day, housekeeping showed up 25 minutes early (so glad I set the security latch!). I got everything out at 5 before the hour only to discover the elevators in the building were not working. I had a cart full of belongings and was on the 11th floor. I contacted Vacasa customer service and was told repeatedly that they were looking into it. After 45 minutes of getting no real information, I asked if I could simply put my things back in the unit while I made the estimated six or seven trips up and down eleven flights of stairs to get my things to the first floor. That wasn't an option, evidently since I was told that she "would ask" but never got an answer one way or the other. Finally, after an hour and 35 minutes of just standing on the 11th floor next to elevators with my cart of belongings, someone from Orange Beaches "other rental agency" (B-R) figured out that the elevators would work from inside the elevator if they used the open/close doors buttons but none of the floor call buttons worked at all so this kind person came up to the 11th floor to get me and my stuff to the ground floor. I finally heard back from Vacasa a full hour after that - and they never did give me any info about the elevator status, for all they know, I could be still standing there on the 11th floor. I very much got the feeling that because once it was after checkout time, my things and I weren't their problem, even though I was seven steps from their unit that I had just left. Even with the good, I will never rent from Vacasa again.

The perfect vacation

Everything was excellent. From the view the proximity to restaurants and everything else. We could not have been happier. Made our first trip orange beach perfect. We will stay there again.

Overall the trip was great and the weather was perfect!

Our condo was easy to find when we arrived and very easy access to everything. Convenient location and the condo was clean with a great ocean view.

The condo was a little dated and the bathrooms were small and very dated and the shower was extremely small with a very low shower head. We had to stoop down to take showers. Bathrooms could definitely use upgrades considering the price point of the condo. Also you have to pay an additional $55 fee for parking which seems excessive after paying so much for the condo. We probably won't be staying again for these reasons.

The location is spectacular! The property was clean and our condo was really nice. We had everything we needed close by.

The only downside to the condo was the master toilet ran all night long and it was hard to flush.

The property was close to the beach.

The property has outdoor access like a motel. It has a balcony but the locks were very simple and accessible to children, so not an ideal spot for a family. The floors were very wet when we arrived, even though we came well after our check in time and our children slipped when they walked in. It was very humid in the apartment and you couldn’t change the AC temp because there was a lock on it. There was a large hole in the wall that was covered up by a lamp shade. We addressed concerns with the manager and they were quickly dismissed. We asked for accommodations for our special needs daughter, as she is prone to eloping and the listing did not state that the room was on a high floor. Our concerns were quickly dismissed and we were told basically “too bad” when asking to be placed on a lower floor for concerns of our child eloping. We left after 20 minutes of checking in and never turned back! Would not recommend this place to anyone. All they want is your money and don’t care how they get it.

Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely come back!

Great location! Very clean! Had everything we needed as far as kitchenware, linens, towels, full-size shampoo and conditioner, etc. Beach and pool access was super easy and a short walk.

The only thing I wish was easier is the parking lot. To someone new it was very confusing and people were going the wrong direction at times. But the staff were very helpful.

Great location with an amazing view. With a short drive you are near shops and restaurants. The property had a lot of amenities and there are several things to do nearby. The family had a wonderful time, great memories were made on this trip.

The dryer in the unit had to run three times to dry one load of clothes and sounded like the belt in the dryer was going out. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. Some of the handles on the kitchen cabinets were missing screws.

There is not a real dedicated space for animals. The relief area was outside of the property’s north wall…terrible! Check in is 4pm with no exception for early check ins and checkout is 10am. A bit on the pricy side for 3 days and 2 night stay…$1176 for a 1/1 apartment.

It was a clean condo. The location was good.

Condo was dated and it was old. Ceilings were peeling, the refrigerator door came apart literally when we opened it. The handle was super loose. One of the smoke alarms was chirping. We had to call the property mgr as soon as we got there. They were great. The floor tiles in bathroom and throughout in different areas was cracked. All the wall outlets were definitely dated and old. If you have small kids be careful for sure. They had power strips out in the openings. The TV’s were definitely small. The one in the bedroom may have been 24”. The one in the living room maybe a 32”. Definitely too little for the space. But hey you don’t go to the beach to watch tv right :-). And lastly when we were on the balcony you could smell someone smoking pot or whatever it was every single day and night. Now that was frustrating.

Musty second bedroom, dirty base boards,urine cacked in toilet seat clamps,dirty floors,lamps in living room didn't work, moldy showe curtain in second bedroom, broken shower handle. Hard to get water temp adjusted, broken towel rack. Freezer wouldn't freeze Popsicles or ice cream or water. We are being charged cleaning fee for dirty condo. Should be getting some sort of refund instead!

Great location and views, otherwise disappointing

The location was about the only nice thing about our stay.

When we arrived, we walked into what looked like the aftermath of a fight. The front door lock was partially unscrewed from the door, there were holes in a closet door and blood on a wall in the hallway. The unit was remodeled, but it looks like it was furnished from the Dumpster behind Goodwill. There was dirt/stains on the chest at the foot of the bed, two worn down footrests were pushed against the wall (the bottom of one was all torn up). The bed had a sheet and a thin coverlet meant to go over a blanket or comforter, and there was no blanket or comforter. I searched the unit, trying to find one, but there were no spare pillows or blankets, despite there being two other beds for guests to use. We froze that first night, but they did deliver blankets the next day (very thin ones... I had to layer 3 on the bed to stay warm). I washed the blankets and sheets and saw that the mattress was gross and stained when I stripped the bed and it was very uncomfortable. There were 4 pillows in the entire unit (for 1 king and 2 queen size beds) that were thin, worn, and hard. There was a (rusty) coffee maker in the unit, but no coffee filters, so I had to buy a pack of 50 just to be able to make coffee for a few days. The hot tubs were only in the indoor pool area, which was always packed and extremely loud. There were 4 bath towels provided, but none for use at the pool or beach. The floors were so gross that my feet were black from walking around in the unit barefoot for only a few minutes the first night. The hall closet was locked and unusable (no big deal, since there was a closet in the bedroom) but the bedroom closet was also unusable, as there were totes of the owner's belongings stacked and a vacuum, so there was no way to hang longer items without them getting bunched and wrinkled or covered in dust. The shower had almost no water pressure and the dryer left my clothes still wet after running 2 90-minute dry cycles on high. One of the 2 elevators was down.

The king sized bed was so comfortable. I actually slept better than I do at home. The condo was really clean and spacious. And the view was amazing.

the dirty broke down room with dated furniture and appliances there were cum stains on the couch my so. was supposed to sleep on. we ended up buying an air mattress. there was a emergency evacuation the first night we were there. my handicap mother walked down 11 flights of stairs to be told it was just a drill at 11pm at night. I am more upset about that than the outrageous price I paid for a cheaply put together condo. your internet photos are very misleading. it’s a beautiful beach. an awful place to stay. will never book with Vacasa or booking again after this
