La Barbacoa, a villa near the sea

Das Haus ist wirklich toll, alle Fenster haben Fliegenschutzgitter und es mangelt nur an wenig. Die Betten sind gemütlich die Ausstattung absolut funktional und die Hauswirtschafterin hat für jedes Problemchen ein offenes Ohr und handelt auch. Auch der Vermieter war gut organisiert und hat vorab viele Infos über die Umgebung per Mail geschickt. Der Pool ist klein aber er wird regelmäßig gereinigt und reicht wirklich für alle! Liegen sind mehr als ausreichend vorhanden und wir haben ihn sehr gemocht und auch regelmäßig genutzt. Obwohl das Haus so schön ist und das Grundstück gepflegt und uns sehr sehr gut gefallen hat, ist die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer schlecht. Nur die Klimaanlage im Kinderzimmer hat gekühlt und die Andere im Schlafzimmer erinnerte stark an einen sehr lauten schlecht funktionierenden Ventilator ohne Anschluß nach außen. Die Hauswirtschafterin war sehr nett hat einen Techniker kommen lassen und auch noch einen Ventilator dazugestellt...das Schlafzimmer blieb aber sehr heiß. War wirklich einer der wenigen Minuspunkte und man muss sich einfach klar sein, dass es so ist. Das Meer ist wirklich in der Nähe, aber der Zugang ist kein Strand im klassischen Sinne sondern eher eine bequeme Stelle um ins Wasser zu steigen. Zum Angeln, den Sonnenuntergang genießen oder Schnorcheln war der Zugang zum Meer aber aber toll! Wir haben stattdessen lieber den Strand in 10 Min Fahrt oder den Hundestrand ca. 5Min Fahrtweg genutzt. Wenn man lieber zu Fuß unterwegs ist, kommt man auch in ca. 20 Min an die ein oder Andere schöne Bucht. Für Autofahrer: Parkplätze sind überall kostenlos und ausreichend vorhanden. Der Wanderweg direkt am Haus ist ein echter Traum. Er erscheint unendlich und führt so dicht am Meer ...wunderschön und auch für unsere Kids (6 und 7 ) absolut machbar (Niedrige Wanderschuhe unbedingt mitnehmen). Generell ist der Ort eher ruhig und hier machen hauptsächlich Spanier selbst Urlaub. Das verursacht einen sehr schönen Charme und ist ganz anders als ein touristenüberlaufener Ort. Fazit: Ein schöner und sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen nochmal wiederzukommen. Klare Empfehlung!

Barbacoa a un balcon avec une vue magnifique, la mer est proche et le quartier très calme. Seul problème la nuisance sonore de l'autoroute qui s'entend de la maison. Sinon Carmen est exceptionnelle de gentillesse et de réactivité.

Very nice holiday complex with 6 or 7 independent housing units well spaced out for good privacy and a nice big garden. Being there in winter meant we had the whole complex to ourselves which was nice but it was a bit cold. Based on the number of windmills in the area, there is a usually a lot of wind and we had a very strong and cold north-west wind the whole time we were there. The house we had over two levels was very nice, spacious and comfortable for the two of us and our dog with everything we needed. There were portable heaters provided in the house but the rooms were mostly too cold to be comfortable which is main reason we would not stay here again in winter. There is a private path to quickly get to the quiet, rocky and beautiful coastline. We did very nice hikes along the coast on the marked coastal hiking path for 8-9 km in both directions. Our dog loved the adventure along the coast and also “playing with” the many cats in and around the fenced-in complex. Carmen who is the local contact person was very helpful and met us reliably to get the keys and helped us when we had a few small issues. The information that was provided by the rental agency contact was very helpful although almost overwhelming in terms of volume. Probably a very nice place to stay in the non-winter months.

Primero agradecer a Carme su trato, servicial y agradable. El alojamiento es increíble, tiene un potencial enorme, pero está muy descuidado. El parque infantil donde los niños lo disfrutaron mucho esta algo sucio y anticuado, lleno de cagadas de gatos, hay cuadros eléctricos por el jardín sin tapa, con los cables vistos y accesible a los niños cosa que encontramos muy peligroso. El equipamiento es muy escaso en las cabañas, tengo que decir que avisamos a Carme y ella lo soluciono pero si hubiéramos llamado por cada cosa que faltaba ella hubiera sido un huésped más. En general lo disfrutamos pero también vimos que merece más cuidado. Esperemos que pronto puedan dejarlo como el espacio merece.
