Titisee Haus Vogelnest

The Vogelnest itself was amazing, so much space and the kitchen allowed me to cook as if I was at home. Though not right on the lake edge as the pictures might imply its only a short 200m or so walk to the lake edge through the linked campsite. Being above, but part of, the campsite means you have plenty of privacy but get all the advantages of the campsite facilities, shop, restaurant, food vans, playground and table tennis table. The private outside area was perfect for eating and relaxing with plenty of seclusion provided by the surrounding trees so full of wildlife I could have just sat and watched that all day. If you want a few relaxing days by the side of the lake with a group of friends or family I can not recommend this place enough.

Because the Vogelnest is the only building on the campsite and is at the top next to the entrance car park people think it is the campsite reception, over the course of the 5 days we were here, we were regularly interrupted by often irate and confused people wanting to check into the campsite. Better signage for the campsite reception and a sign outside the building saying it is not the reception would be good for the people staying in the Vogelnest and for those staying on the campsite.

Das Haus liegt schön am Titisee, es gibt viele Freizeitaktivitäten mit denen man sich verweilen kann.

Leider hatten wir keinen WLAN Empfang. In der Beschreibung des Hauses liest es sich so, als wäre die Sauna im Haus. Das ist leider nicht so und deshalb haben wir sie auch nicht genutzt. Das war sehr schade.

Viel Platz, super Ausstattung, hohe Decken mit Holzbalken, gemütlich. Große Fenster, helle Räume. Nah am See.

Der Garten könnte etwas bepflanzt sein, die Wiese gemäht werden. An der Terrassentür wäre ein Fliegenschutz hilfreich.
