Very private romantic getaway
We liked the privacy and that we had the whole place to ourselves amd we could enjoy a really romantic getaway.
The lack of a possibility to make fire. Next tine plz, provide some matches or lighter for the guest. We did not like that the first night was absolutely cold. It was probably the coldest I ever been in my life. Do not get me wrong, there was an oven for heating but we arrived late and we had no matches nor lighter to make fire. One expects that this would be at least provided.

Excellent value for money. Price (for two people) was competitive with various tiny hotel rooms and apartments nearby. Space - for just two people, the house is enormous. Location - the house is in a secluded and quiet place above a campsite (closed in winter), with a lake view and some trees close by. Nearby road traffic was very light. Several nice XC ski tracks reachable by car in a few minutes. Windows - they are big and there are lots of them. It's very "airy" inside, even in winter. Fireplace - wonderful thing! It gets very hot very fast, and creates a fantastic atmosphere during snowy winter days. We had to buy our own wood, but it was well worth it. Kitchen - large, contains all necessary dishes and utensils plus dishwasher, and is easy to clean. Owner - very responsive and permissive. Picked up calls and replied to SMS inquiries promptly.
Sauna - the only reason for not giving 10 points. Sauna is useless, it simply doesn't work. After 2 hours of warming up on "max" thermostat setting, it was still only ~50 °C inside, no matter what we did. (As a bonus, it's 750m away from the house and costs 1 eur / 35 minutes, which you can only pay with 1 eur coins.) Internet - bad connection, both via wifi and 4G. You need to take the car for all shopping etc. Also, there was lots of snow on arrival and nowhere to park the car. :) The entry door always needs a key to open from outside, and it closes automatically. Very easy to get locked out.

Parasols and sunchairs were missing on the terrasse (was not as it was shown on the photos) To bad - there was no dishwasher as listed in the description

Beautiful location near the titilake. Nice view and enough privacy around the house. 10 minutes drive to Feldberg (ski-ing) and 5 to the village. We stayed with 6 persons, enough space!

Ferienhaus in toller Lage, mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, aber einigen Schwächen
Das Ferienhaus überzeugt mit einer tollen Lage und liegt nur zirka 130 Meter von dem Ufer des Titisee entfernt. Unterhalb des Ferienhauses erstreckt sich ein Campingplatz, welcher während unseres Aufenthaltes komplett verlassen war. Die Schlüsselübergabe per Schlüsselsafe hat gut funktioniert. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über vier Räumlichkeiten: - ein kleiner Eingangsbereich - eine kleine Abstellkammer - ein kleines Bad mit einer Dusche sowie einer Toilette und einem Waschbecken - ein großer Wohnraum mit einem Doppelbett sowie einer gut ausgestatteten Küche mit einem geräumigen Kühlschrank und einem großen Esstisch und zwei Sitzsesseln und einem kleinen Sitzsofa Über eine Glastür erreicht man eine Art Terrasse, auf welcher ein Tisch und Stühle stehen - im Sommer kann man hier super frühstücken oder den Abend ausklingen lassen. Generell vermittelt die Glasfront in Richtung des Titisees und des dazwischenliegenden Campingplatzes ein naturnahes Gefühl, ohne dass man irgendwelchen Blicken ausgesetzt ist. In das Obergeschoss gelangt man entweder über eine Außentreppe oder eine Art Wendeltreppe im Inneren. Das Obergeschoss dient größtenteils der Bereitstellung weiterer Schlafmöglichkeiten - hier befinden sich mehrere Betten sowie ein Kühlschrank. Ein weiteres Bad oder eine zweite Küche gibt es hier nicht. Der Vermieter beziehungsweise Verwalter war überaus freundlich.
Das Ferienhaus wirkt auf den ersten Blick sehr schön, bei näherer Betrachtung zeigten sich jedoch erhebliche Schwächen. Die Innentreppe ist eine echte Zumutung - extrem eng und sehr wackelig. Das Ferienhaus bietet kaum Möglichkeiten zum Verstauen oder Abstellen von Reisegepäck oder Kleidung. Überall befinden sich Regale oder Ähnliches, welche mit Dekoartikeln oder Ähnlichem befüllt sind und daher für Gäste kaum nutzbar sind. Leider ist der Bereich um das Ferienhaus nicht umfriedet - dies wäre noch eine schöne Sache für Gäste mit Hunden. Zudem funktionierte das Wlan nur sporadisch. Bei unserem Eintreffen war der Boiler auf einem leistungsschwachen Sparmodus eingestellt, sodass anfangs nur sehr wenig Warmwasser zur Verfügung stand. Die in der Anzeige genannten 160 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche bietet das Ferienhaus in der Realität nicht.

Die Lage war sehr schön. Wir waren im Winter dort mit kleinem Kind, eine Rodelbahn ist ganz in der Nähe. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und der Kamin sorgt auch bei frostigen Minusgrafen für wohlige Wärme.

könnte man eventuell die Handtücher vorhanden haben. (was gut war- der Gastgeber hat uns informiert, dass die wir Selber mitnehmen müssen)
