Great stay in the middle of Schwartzwald

We had a great stay at Villa Hubertus in the Black Forest region late November 2025. We arrived around five, when the sun was just settling in. The hotel is in a colder part of the Black Forest, or Schwartzwald, as the area was full of snow compared to the other towns we visited. The check-in was smooth, using a lock box. The rented suite was comfortable and spacious, with a fantastic view out of the windows. We enjoyed having a kitchen. The bathroom was very clean. For activities, the hosts provide a book with recommendations, which is helpful if you are visiting during the peak season. There is also a train station and Lidl supermarket a short 15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, a great stay and fantastic hosts that kept the lines of communication open and made us feel welcomed.

The location is perfect if you are looking for (1) quite (2) close to some nice hiking path & (3) nice market offer schwarzwald local food for your daily need. Next to the location, the equipments in the apartment fulfill everything we need.

Would recommend, and hope to come back with the kids in the future.

Convenient location-15 minute drive to Felberg and 15 drive to Titisee and Schlugsee lakes. Apt 3 has a small balcony for meals Al Fresco. Modern bathroom with great shower. Kitchen has Nespresso machine with capsules, and all crockery and cutlery you need for simple meals. Tea also provided which was lovely. Owner/hosts are very friendly and Ingrid spoke good English. Cows on the fields outside the kitchen and bedroom windows was a bonus. But be prepared for noisy mornings as their bells jingle non-stop!

We were there during a heat wave of over 33c , and the bedroom hardly cooled off- how we longed for air conditioning :) :) We realise these very warm nights are the exception. Also a small waste bin in the bathroom would be useful.

Lovely little flat in a beautiful location

The house is lovely and our flat was perfect - small, self contained, well equipped and with two balconies. The owners are so helpful and friendly and there is tons to do and see nearby. I really can’t think of a single thing that could have improved our visit!

Een heerlijk verblijf boven onze verwachtingen

Ontbijt n.v.t. De locatie ligt mooi met een prachtig uitzicht. ook vlak bij bakkerij en eet gelegenheden. bedden zeer goed locatie super schoon alles is aanwezig

Alles was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht.

Die Lage ist super toll. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht. Alles sehr gemütlich und stylisch eingerichtet. Couch sowie die Betten sehr bequem. Wir hatten einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Sogar ein Fliegengitter am Schlafzinmerfenster. Also alles in Allem, sehr bedacht eingerichtet.

Endroit très bien situé, détente, calme, air pur. Que du bonheur.

L'appartement est très bien agencé, très propre, et le nécessaire était disponible. Savon, gel douche, shampoing et liquide vaisselle fournis. Les serviettes et le nécessaire de lingerie inclus dans le prix ainsi que le ménage inclus fort appréciable.

Quelques petits détails abimés porte de douche quoique très récente bloquée d'un coté, 2 ampoules HS rien de méchant. Le seul petit reproche et le manque de vaisselle pile poil pour 4 personnes un peu plus de vaisselles serait top, rien de plus à signaler.

Alle Bilder haben der Realität entsprochen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und war sehr sauber.

Leider sehr hellhörig. In der Nachbarwohnung waren Kinder, die sehr früh wach waren. Im Schlafzimmer hat man fast jedes Wort verstanden…..

Im grossen und ganzen gut. Für 2 Personen super.

Es war sauber und hatte alles was man braucht. Die Komunikation sar super. Das Bett war bequem

Das Schlafsofa ist sehr unbequem. Das Wohnzimmer (Standort des Schlafsofas kann nicht abgedunkelt werden. Dadurch war es bis späht und schon sehr früh morgens hell. Zudem ist es sehr hellhörig. Die Gäste oberhalb waren am abend sehr laut. Mann hatte das gefühl sie spielen Basketball in der Wohnung und feiern eine Party. Dementsprechend konnten wir schlecht einschlafen. Dafür kann die Unterkunft allerdings nichts.

Kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren privat ein paar Tage zu Gast in Wohnung 1. haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieter sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist hell und freundlich, die Lage zwischen Titisee und Feldberg ideal für ausgedehnte Wanderungen.
