1) LOCATION - The home is 1 block to Congress to so many restaurants, shopping, and entertainment and less than 2 miles to downtown. You don't necessarily need a car as so much is walkable.
2) FREE PARKING - No need to park a half mile away or pay for parking when you can park at my front door. The home comes with 2 free parking passes. Other homes do not have this amenity.
3) SERVICE - I text you 5-7 days prior to your arrival to give you my contact info and touch base on your upcoming trip. I respond quickly and provide each group their own 4-digit code to get inside the home and I am available any time during your trip in case you need anything. I want you to have a fantastic stay and I have many 5-star reviews combined with all of my listings to prove that.
4) AREA INFO PROVIDED - I provide a map of an aerial view of the home in relation to the many restaurants and things to do within walking distance and provide a written list of those restaurants including phone number and website and what makes them popular so the group can decide which restaurants they want to try.
5) AMENITIES - 55 & 50-inch smart HDTV's in living room and kitchen with streaming, high speed internet, comfortable beds, spacious living room, full kitchen, and ceiling fans in each room. Also, have front porch and covered back deck with seating for 8 for relaxing after a long day of shopping and listening to live music.
6) CLEANLINESS - the home is very clean and has extra towels, sheets, pillows, toiletries, etc. as needed

The house was very nice in a great location walking distance to So Congress. It was perfect for my family getting together for Thanksgiving. We only made one breakfast there but everything was there for more meal prep if desired.

We had a lovely stay at Chad's property, which could not be in a better location for the shopping and dining in the South Congress neighborhood, plus an easy drive/Uber to downtown, Barton Springs, or anywhere else you want to be in the city. Chad was always prompt to respond to any questions or requests and was easy to work with throughout. This is a rental I would happily return to!

My family of five and our nanny stayed here for a weekend trip to Austin. The house is perfectly located, one block off South Congress, near the heart of everything and only 5-10 minutes from downtown and 10-15 mins from Lake Austin activities. Chad, the owner, met us when we arrived and the entry and exit was seemless.
The house was clean and amenities were perfect with a nice backyard to hang and for the kids to play. The house is occupied and the owner’s clothes and food are there but several drawers and closet space, in addition to room in the fridge were cleared out for us.
Two minor criticisms: 1) the master bath curtain has some mold and can be replaced. 2) the parking is street parking and like most major cities right now, there is an increase in crime. I was disheartened to see that my car door was open and someone rifled through my stuff (nothing valuable was inside and nothing was taken). I don’t blame the owner or the property for this but it is worth noting so you can plan accordingly.
Overall, it was a good spot
