Anna's Apartment and Studio

The little cottage was nice, cozy and comfortable. About a 20 minute drive from the airport.

The hosts are so sweet and helpful. Great communication prior to arrival. We took advantage of getting a ride to the airport (you do need cash for that.) It's a fairly short walk to the beach. We didn't swim at the beach but we did go out for dinner. Very authentic Greek vibe, not a lot of international tourists and not expensive. There were a few restaurants right next to each other. People were swimming in the water. The air conditioning worked well in one of the bedrooms. We had to leave very early in the morning and only stayed one night so we didn't try the breakfast.

I had been hoping to use the washing machine which was not working. The apartment is on the second floor and the flight of stairs outdoors felt a little daunting for my mother who is older. Definitely is not accessible if you can't climb those stairs. The decor is a bit dated/kitschy if that's important to you.

We stayed overnight at Anna's after arriving back from island hopping at Piraeus Port and needing accommodation near the airport for our flight home the next day. On arrival at Anna's we were greeted by Yiannis who made us feel so welcome, he gave us directions down to the seafront , only a 5 minute walk where there were a few lovely restaurants. The studio was spotless and location quiet. Breakfast was on their porch and was fabulous, we had juice ,cereal, Greek yogurt, bread, homemade honey and jams, as well as some lovely filo pastries with cheese and spinach in, along with fresh omelettes made by Maria. Yiannis then drove us to the airport at a fraction of the cost of a taxi. Thank you Yiannis and Maria for welcoming us into your home and for all your help with getting a taxi from Piraeus Port to your lovely home. If ever we travel to Athens again I wouldn't hesitate to stay with you and will be recommending you to anyone who needs accommodation near Athens airport.

A very nice apartment in a beautiful lemon garden equipped with a small kitchen. We really enjoyed being the guests of Anna’s House. We could spent the day at the beach which was just 10 mins walk from the house while waiting for our flight next day early morning. Everything was perfect our host was so kind as to bring us early on to the airport too.
