Full of art from local artists and vintage finds, comfy furniture and best of all the extra large screened porch with rocking chairs. Truly a southern charmer of a home! This home is a historic home, and the homeowner has added an additional full bath for a total of 2 1/2 baths! Yet another unique feature of our home! This is half of the duplex with Enlisted Men's Mess Hall on the other side. Both sides are quiet and have private/separate entrances. Need space for a large family? Rent both sides!

We had a great time spending a long weekend on tybee with our kids. The rental was lovely and we walked to the beach, the lighthouse, and some restaurants. Highly recommend for the location, the unique history of the building, and the relaxing vibe.

This was the perfect getaway experience for us. This house is charming and tucked away. I have two small dogs and they had a blast in the fenced in yard and the screened porch for some sun bathing. The rental company was beyond exceptional. They checked in on us and communicated with being bothersome. The location is so close to the beach, the lighthouse, great places to eat. We walked to several places and we rented bikes because everything is so close. We have an electric car and there is a fast charger just around the corner. We drove to Savannah several days, it’s only 20 minutes away and there is so much to do and see. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the hosts. Also, when we left , Tammy reached out to let me know we had left something behind so we could arrange to get it back. Just wonderful ladies. I will definitely be recommending this spot to others and I will also be back in the future. Thank you mermaids for making my stay so easy and really going out of your way for us. I truly appreciate it. Your wonderful.

Our family could not love this sweet house more! It is such a charming home in a perfect location. We have stayed multiple times over the years and always look forward to returning. The Mermaids leave nothing to want and always provide a warm welcome!

Our vacation was very enjoyable, and the property was simply delightful! The folks at Mermaid Cottages were very friendly and helpful. Check-in/out was simple. We loved the Screened Inn house. It was just perfect for us. We are already planning our next stay at Screened Inn in the Spring.
