9 / 10Outstanding·Sep 2026
Desiree was a lovely host, as was the place: simple but comfortable rooms, with a little terrace, and a pleasant courtyard and small breakfast room downstairs. You may be able to park on the street, but if not, there's a large public car park for the stadium three minutes walk down the hill. The area is a bit run down, but you can get a taxi into Ortigia for a wander around. There's a little pizzeria 200m away on the main road which has seating outside and is very good value.

All was very good, the bedroom spot clean and the host Desiree a delicious person. Very friendly, welcoming and nice to chat with. If back, I'll defo be checking with them first.
