The owner was so welcoming. It is a very comfortable place. It is not fancy, but it was perfect for my wife and i. The owner directed us to a beach on the river then to a community pizza dinner at their tiny ski area. Could not have been a better introduction to the folks in the Gaspe

Our room was clean, though a little spartan, and we shared a bathroom with other guests. We were welcome to use the former restaurant kitchen to put our meal together. Notre chambre était propre, quoique un peu spartiate, et on partageait la salle de bain avec d'autres clients. On a pu utiliser l'ancien cuisine du resto pour préparer notre repas.
We were attracted by the very good restaurant reviews, but sadly, the restaurant is no longer operating and no food is available on site. Fortunately, a small grocery store with some limited takeout is next door. On a décidé d'y rester à cause des avis enthousiastes sur le resto. Malheureusement, il a fermé ses portes et aucun repas n'est servi sur place. Heureusement, une petite épicerie est juste à côté, et on a trouvé quelques plats à emporter.

Awesome property. There is a grocery store just a few steps from the building, and although the restaurant at the property was unfortunately closed, we were allowed to use the kitchenette to cook!
