Feel like a local as you enjoy your balcony

Antonia was a fantastic host who meet us as we came off the train and explained aspects of the apartment. This place is the best location, so well equipped so we bought pasta from the local store Antonia told us about and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching tourists & locals go about the piazza. The apartment gives you a feeling of living like a local even if just for a few days. You also must treat yourself to the restaurant 20m away of the same name! Parma is charming

Care and hospitality in Parma!

We were so lucky to get to stay at Antonia’s beautiful apartment for 4 nights! After a week and a half of travel, we were so greatful to stay somewhere with access to a kitchen to do some cooking and to have a little bit of breathing room. You can immediately sense the care that has been put into furnishing the apartment- this is not your typical rental. There’s is beautiful art on the walls, solid wood furnishings and a wonderful view of the square from the balcony. You get a sense of place just from being in the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and Antonia was kind enough to provide some beverages and snacks for us to enjoy. We also had a wonderful meal at her restaurant next door. We had a car and Antonia kindly accompanied us to the nearby parking lot. We were accommodated and welcomed in every way by Antonia. We even learned that she offers cooking classes for pasta fresca, which we will definitely take advantage of if we ever return! The location was central and we had everything we needed. The shower is small (as expected in an older European building) but my 6’5” husband managed just fine. You will not regret staying at Il Balconre dell’Angiol d’Or!

We had a lovely stay in Parma and it was a perfect conclusion to our holiday.

Antonia stayed in contact with us and was able to accommodate our late arrival. The location was perfect and she arranged an early taxi for our departure.

Great location. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Very charming building and interior.

Noise, noise, noise. Neighbours moving furniture around and echo of everything happening on street or even even the Piazza comes straight into the apartment without any filter. Not a matter of being a light sleeper - perhaps better during week, we visited for a weekend. Note that the (expensive) parking is a few mins away and that you will need to wash your car immediately after.

Good location, good facilities. Apartment in old classic building. Spacious. Nice but small terrace facing toward the duomo and Piazza duomo. Friendly and helpful host that also owns a good restaurant on the nearby corner, worth a visit.

As one must expect with such a location, a bit noisy from the street outside. Bring earplugs if you are sensitive.

Parma in all its beauty

Closing your eyes at night and opening them in the morning with the gorgeous romanic Duomo before them is a priceless experience. The cleanliness of of the apartment is remarkable.

There was just one set of crockery that I had to wash by hand every time. Lack of self-checkin procedure always makes life less easy, but in this case the host or her husband are available 24/7 and guarantee maximum flexibility, so it was not a problem.

The ambient and the details are exacky like a vacation rental should be. The details are thoughful and the testiment of great taste.

The steet noise is like this everywhere in italy..it is a bit loud, but you have wooden shutters to work with.

ドゥオーモ脇の最高のロケーション、古いけれどとても清潔で趣味の良い室内、そして何よりもオーナーご夫妻の人柄とホスピタリティ。絶対にまた彼らにお会いしたいと思いました。今回食事は全て事前に組まれていたのですが、傍で営まれているリストランテにも次回は必ず伺いたいと思います。

到着した晩から急に冷え込んだのですが、冷暖房のクーラーが動かず、翌日お願いして暖房を入れてもらいました。お願いしたことに快くすぐに対応して下さるので、大変心強かったです。

Magnifique séjour, appartement super et hôte adorable

L’emplacement est fabuleux, l’appartement a beaucoup de charme avec une vue magnifique et très bien équipé. L’hôte, Antonia, est absolument adorable et au petit soin. Nous avons également pu lui louer une place de parking ce qui était très pratique. Nous reviendrons!

Globalement rien, simplement peut-être un peu de bruit la nuit avec certains passants qui parlaient fort et cela semblait résonner.

Accueil extrêmement attentif et chaleureux de la propriétaire, appartement à la situation idéale pratiquement sur la place du baptistère, au calme absolu, décoré avec soin et beaucoup de goût, parking en option à deux pas

Nouvel an à Parme

L'immense gentillesse d'Antonia : un grand merci à elle pour son accueil, ses explications sur la ville, et le fait qu'elle nous ait accompagnés jusqu'au parking. Elle a même organisé la réparation de notre voiture tombée en panne : Exceptionnel ! Par ailleurs l'appartement est fidèle à la description : idéalement situé et très confortable.
