Fabulous spacious flat,ideal location.
If you’re in for a week-end and expect a friendly welcome with the basics of hospitality you’re better off at a hotel.
The flat is managed by a short term rental management company called Cleanbnb, on behalf and to the benefit of homeowners, abiding by stricly transactional business rules. You are renting someone else’s living premises left vacant during the tourist season, you are not in a BnB or a hotel.
The whole process is fully automated and managed through internet, without any personal interaction. The middle man opening the door, giving a quick tour of the rooms and handing in the keys is the only human connection you will get. In case of malfunction in the flat, don’t expect fixing or apologising for the inconvenience. The rest you need to figure out by yourself, reading through a one-sided sheet of instructions and rules left on the table. It doesn’t provide any useful information for a pleasant stay (see below).
The kitchen is well equipped but you need to buy everything (basics such as coffee or tea, minimum bathroom necessities), and provide kitchen towels or dishwasher soap (among many other things).
Have your phone translator ready to understand the extensive recycling rules and beware : if you don’t comply you may be fined up to 250€.
Beware if you’re coming by car : you’re entering a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), parking and circulation are camera controlled. You need to figure out your parking beforehand, as no such information is given upon booking or upon arrival.
Although the flat is beautiful, well equipped and ideally located, our experience was disappointing regarding the little care for guests. Not worth the expense for a short stay, implying either a lot of waste or planning meals in restaurants during the whole stay.

Grocery store : Esselunga, via Giuseppe Verdi 9A (5mn) : everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. We would definitely recommend it.
The apartment was big and very nice and decorated with taste.
The air conditioning unit was too small for the big apartment and the extraction pipe kept falling out of the wall, consequently it was very hot inside.

Colchones blandos, sólo un juego de toallas por persona y estancia, el armario está lleno de cosas y no se puede usar... no hay ventiladores en condiciones y estábamos a más de 30° por la noche, no dejan ni las bolsas de.basura para reciclar, que en Italia es un lío y para 4 noches, en fin que son 4 bolsas de cada.. ridículos!! No hay nada, hay que llevar de todo, la cocina incompleta, las sartenes para tirar... yo sólo desayuné en el apartamento, pero tampoco tiene tostadora, en fin... que por el mismo precio había mejores en la misma zona.
