Location is perfect. In the heart of Old Town. Very nice studio with all necessary equipment. Nice bed, good shower.

Will return to Boulogne, and would not hesistate to use this property again.

The location of the property was absolutely fantastic! Opposite a Boulangerie and a couple of doors from the most beautiful Cathedral. Boulogne has so much to offer and this was a perfect base. Florence is a fantastic host, helped us to identify parking and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

With it being an old building you do get some noise from the neighbours, particularly above - but not the fault of the owners!

Highly recommend and excellent value for money!

This is a beautiful upper maisonette right in the heart of the old town, a picturesque location within the town walls. It’s surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants which are family friendly and with good secure (pay) parking nearby in the municipal car park within a minute’s walk. The property is made to make you feel at home and very well presented. A perfect stopping place for ferries to and from Calais.

There’s absolutely nothing we didn’t like, which is why we booked again for the return journey home. Our kids (8 and 6) loved the maisonette bedroom but there’s no doubt the stairs up to the property and inside might be difficult for younger children, older visitors or anyone lugging suitcases about. (We kept ours locked in the car overnight.)

Lovely apartment at the top of the stairs.

Location is excellent. Right outside the door on Rue de Lille are lots of lovely restaurants, bars and a bakery. Spoilt for choice really. We'd booked for a very busy period, stage 2 finish of Le Tour. Lots of car parking space was prohibited, therefor it could have been difficult. However, within a 3 minute drive, we parked at Place de Resistance for free, the length of our stay. It's only 57 spaces, but if you hang around, someone always leaves.

The accommodation was very quirky and pleasant. Florence communicated well by whats app. Our room was no.6, at the top of the stairs. I have to mention this, because, I would hesitate to book if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs. It's a beautiful old building, but the stairs would be challenging for anyone with mobility problems. Other than that, I can highly recommend Comme a la maison.

Cosy flat in the old town of Boulogne sur Mer

Great location, cosy and well-equipped flat, very friendly and always reachable contact person.

It's an old house and a bit noisy. But our neighbours were very quiet, so there were no problems. The car cannot be parked directly in front of the house. However, it is easy to find free parking nearby.

Lovely Old Boulogne

Fantastic location, everything we could have wanted right in the lovely old walled city of Boulogne.

Due to the type of buildings in the old town, we had been advised that the property had steep wooden stairs, so none of that was a problem. The only thing to be aware of is young families on wooden floors above the apartment, and they didn’t appear to go to bed very early!! Apart from that it was great and Florence was so helpful 👍

Lovely apartment within the fortified town.

Everything there that was needed, lovely cotton bedding and comfortable pillows. Able to use my Netflix account. Super central with stunning views on the streets around. The building was beautiful and the decor in the apartment was very tasteful. Boulangerie across the road had lovely sandwiches for our channel Crossing.

Nothing the owner could do about the stairs, they were steep for my old dog but they were known about so not an issue!

A pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

We liked the location and that we were able to check in on arrival ( which is after 5pm) by a friend of the owner who works closeby. The apartment we stayed had everything we needed. We like the enclosed outdoor room for an afternoon drink and that it had Netflix, so we could relax after a long day travelling. We took a walk around the town to see all the beautiful artwork on the buildings, and loved the food, local drinks and the friendly service at La Grange de Monsieur Guy so recommend popping in there. They also have a good selection of bottles and beers to buy in a little shop at the back of the bar, which you can enjoy on the terrace of the 2 bed apartment.

The only things I wasn't keen on in the apartment was the lock was hard to operate on the front door, and the place was a little whiffy ( but this maybe because we took this apartment at the last minute and drains not flushed through). My daughter didn't make use of shower as she found the smell too overwhelming but once you run the water in there and pop some bleach down the hole, it clears a bit. The 2 bed apartment is on the first floor, the studios are further up, quite a lot of narrow stairs.

Location is ideal, at the heart of the old town, next to restaurants, pubs, a boulangerie nearby for fresh breakfast everyday. A short ~10min walk from the city center and ~20min to the sea. The apartment was big and well equipped. It was perfectly suited for our needs.

Perfect location for a stay in Boulogne. It is at the beginning of the street where all the restaurants are and next to the cathedral. Still, it is a very quiet place to stay at. Friendly communication with the owner to handover the keys. Apartment itself is great value for money, good bed and shower. Highly recommended.

The apartment was in an excellent location in the old town with numerous lovely restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.
