Exceptional

Second time here. After summer we tried it in winter as well. Was an excellent decision. Best place to stay far away from rushy weekdays and just relax. There is one good restaurant in the village and one small shop in the next town. Nothing typical touristic, so it is quiet and peaceful location. There are excellent snowshoes/wild-ski routes nearby. If you want other activities, like skiing or a longer sledge track, you need to drive ~20min to Obertilliach. Don't hesitate to ask from the owners for fresh milk or own-beaked bread.

Total relaxation, peace and great days out in the mountains!

Location: look out across the Leschtal valley and up to the mountains on the Italian border - you are in perfect walking / hiking country! Breakfast: don't rush it - Magherita lays on a fabulous spread! Peace: you will hear nothing, other than maybe cowbells in the distance.

Great view from the balcony! Very friendly and nice hosts who were always ready to help. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend it if you want to explore the locations nearby (there are many long and very beautiful hiking routes, amazing views from the mountains and generally pure nature).
