This cottage is 550 square feet of cozy comfort. Rustically elegant, this mountain cottage echoes the simplicity of the natural setting. Enjoy the intimacy of the private deck and hot tub nestled in the woods. At the end of an adventurous day, relax in the hot tub then build a fire in the wood-burning stone fireplace and curl up in the comfy bed.
Tucked away in the Mandan area of the Sundance Resort, the cottage is just a hop, skip and a jump to the resort village for skiing, dining, and shopping. The cottage is located on the lower level of a two-story unit, and features a queen-size bed, private bath with separate vanity area, a fireplace, kitchenette, and small sitting area. As an added bonus, the Sundance Spa is a 2-minute stroll down the mountain path.
Just outside the front door is the start of the Nature Trail which winds its way to Stewart Falls, a popular and easy day hike in the Sundance Area. And, you're just a 5-minute walk to the Sundance Resort.
But keep in mind, this cottage is the lower level of a two unit condominium duplex which makes it a little less private than one of our cabin rentals. But with its own private deck and hot tub you can't beat the low rate for this charming cottage.
OCT/NOV 2025 REMODEL - Early November our Mandan 27 will have some updates to look forward to. King bed, new wood flooring, new cabinets and full kitchen with a range, oven, refrigerator and single drawer dishwasher.

This little end unit cabin with the jacuzzi is the best and the fireplace was the frosting on the cake. Clean, organized and well stocked. Yes.. these units are slightly older, but they are well maintained and it adds to the charm imo. We will be back!

Although there is a second floor unit above, you feel isolated in nature. Amenities and interior design welcoming! I felt like family and management was available to help with anything necessary.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this small but clean condo. It looks like a cabin inside but read the description carefully when booking. It is one of the smaller properties and has a condo above and another next to it. The hot tub is lovely but not totally private if other condos are occupied. We hiked to Stewart Falls one day- great hike convenient to condo but it was unseasonably hot during our visit. Everyone we passed in the trail mentioned the heat. When we returned to condo, it took awhile to cool off due to no AC. We tried to eat lunch upside on deck but too many bees as yellow jackets. I was actually stung by a small yellow jacket one evening. When we arrived, there were 3 bath towels. We asked ( twice) for 1 more bath towel. I was first told I could use the washer/ dryer to wash towel but we just wanted 2 towels each. Not a huge request. I was told someone would bring one in an hour but it never happened. Small inconveniences but we were paying guests so we’re disappointed a bit. Perhaps our timing was off for this visit.
