About this cabin rental
Down a private road, past horse pastures and around the bend, your child within will be thrilled when you arrive at the Treehouse. The stream rushes by a large yard with swing set, foot bridge, and stone benches and table for outside dining. A true respite from the outside world. Mount Timpanogos stands proudly over Sundance Resort, just a five-minute drive, where you will find restaurants, skiing, live music, art studio, gift shop, spa, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, ziplining, and flyfishing.
The Treehouse has two separate levels and entrances and works great for two families with kids who want their own space. The upper level is complete with living room, wood burning fireplace (wood provided), large windows and doors to the main deck. A full open kitchen and dining room with table seating for 10, plus counter seating for three , make meal time a breeze. A full bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen deck with table for your morning coffee, provides a quiet space to retreat. The downstairs offers a living room, queen bedroom with bathroom, kitchenette, and doors to the ground level patio. A one of a kind place, there are lots of things to do here: walk to the edge of the stream and cool your feet, lounge in the grass, and watch chipmunks in the trees and clouds in the sky. In winter have a snowball fight and make snow angels. Any season, it’s picture perfect.

Top level has a hall bathroom, one queen bedroom, and one bedroom with a full bed with a twin bunk bed over it, and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Downstairs has a queen bedroom with bathroom and sleeper sofa in the living room.
See if you can locate the “trap door” with a ladder that connects the two levels!
You will have this dwelling to yourself along with a large yard.
Parking can accommodate 3 cars. We also have the availability to offer RV parking for additional guests, please inquire. If you’re looking to book multiple properties close to each other, Cottage on the Stream, Hideaway Above the Stream, the Log Cabin on the Stream, and the Treehouse on the Stream are all very near one another.

The property and host were wonderful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The Treehouse has a fascinating history and plenty of charm. One thing to note for families traveling with small children or needing to use all the bedrooms: the downstairs bedroom and living room have a separate entrance and can only be accessed by going outside and using the stairs. Overall, it is a truly unique and lovely property.

We liked the cabin and its setting very much. It was well stocked with supplies and comfortably furnished. The owner, Pamela, was thoughtful and courteous. The lack of interior access between floors was the only inconvenience. However, it smelled throughout of wood smoke, although we did not use the fireplace. We became accustomed to it during our stay, but it left our clothing and belongings stinking off smoke, including in my case a CPAP I use for apnea that still smells of smoke, hindering its usefulness. Having a sensitive respiratory system, I felt ill the day we departed and other family members reported sinus issues and allergy flare ups. Something should be done about the smoke contaminating the house and potential guests with sinus, respiratory, or allergy issues should be warned they are at risk from smoke inhalation. Smelly laundry and belongings should also be expected.
