The location was great with relation to the pier/beach and places to eat. There were plenty of towels and just about all the appliances you could need. While I thought the parking was going to be an issue with all the cars parking on your side of the street and there only being a very short parking spot for you, I was able to make it work with a huge expedition.
My biggest complaint would be that due to the room being a renovated garage, the noise coming from upstairs neighbors was horrible. You can hear every single footstep and the base of every voice talking. So if your neighbors have a toddler, a dog, and had a party, do not plan on getting quiet time while laying in the bed. Also, the water pressure in the shower was non-existent.

We did realise it was on the ground floor with the bedroom converted from the garage.
Not the place for us
Ground floor with bedroom clearly converted from the garage and no window in bedroom. In need of painting and general renovation. Only one mug and the oven was dirty and gave off Smokey fumes which set off the smoke detectors. Only 1 teaspoon and no kettle. Dining chairs soft and too low for dining table. Poor pressure in shower

The squeaky metal bed frame, and the parking spot is small, so don’t plan on bringing a vehicle that isn’t quite small

Amazing location, one block from the beach! Clean and nicely appointed.
Very small parking space. Felt a little stuffy due to the fact that it lacks AC and is a converted garage.
