DOBAU village

How to start to describe this amazing place! We will start with the Staff, amazing! Makes you feel at home, very professional in a family environment. All are very helpful, and if you lose time speaking with them, you will get great tips for your trip! The view is just breathtaking! Quiet, without any noise besides nature! People are respectful of the calm in Dobau Village! The property itself has everything you need: a nice pool, a fitness area, a great bar and restaurant, and a road to the dam below, where you can even take the SUPs for free! Breakfast is great and plentiful. The restaurant has good food at affordable prices, and the bar has nice drinks! Try the Sangria and Caipirinhas! The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Definitely coming back and recommending to everyone!

I have nothing negative to point out. I have seen many comments regarding the accessibility to the location, but to be honest, this is just normal in this part of Portugal. The roads are tight everywhere outside of the main roads in the area, so no problem at all. We have been there for one week and have never happened to cross another car, so all good!

Everything was really nice. The view, however, is the most outstanding, completely worth it

The path there is not the best. Also, for the times we ate now, I wish the TV had more than just the local channels, someway to have streaming services or to be able to cast your phone

The place is beautiful, being surrounded by nature, animals is just a big bonus. The place looks clean, comfortable and pleasant. The surrounding areas are nice and well decorated. The extra request I asked for the room decoration was perfect.

I was a little disappointed when I found out that the room was super cold and, even with the AC on, the windows were not closing properly, so a lot of cold was coming inside the room. Also, I expected - for the type of room with bathtub and all - that the room would be a little bit more ''comfortable'', cozy and good looking, I noticed a lot of ''old stuff'' and things requiring maitenance. The extra ''romantic dinner'' that I asked for was nice, but the food not that much. The codfish that we chose was super dry. Besides that, the place is lovely but I think you should look for doing some maintenance and adjustments.
