Nice, comfortable house with plenty of space and options of light, yard and pool.
Fantastic view from the house and the main complex, including spa.
Spa is also great and will be greater soon (we saw new baths under construction, already think about returning).
Breakfast is luxury, with wide variety of fruits, bakery and drinks including champagne and fresh orange juice. Also you can order a hot dish without additional payment.
Only two small things that can be improved- more vegetables for breakfast and some more hooks in bathrooms in the house.

Encosta de Louredo provides an interesting combination of offers giving access to a small villa with a breathtaking view over a river and surrounding wooden valley and the comforts of a hotel (reception, breakfast, swimming pools, jacuzzi ...). The small villa we had is a white cube which is a far cry from the local tile-roofed, beige and discreet houses. It has a large balcony and offers every possible comfort required including bathrobes and slippers, in the most perfect silence.
Reading the small print in booking.com would have avoided us the discovery that the hotel services are 2.5 km off on a mountainous road by car (6 minutes and not 2.5 as claimed) from the hotel structure. This has required restructuring our holiday and avoiding the dinner in the hotel (the first night we had a good dinner delivered in the villa at no extra cost). The staff was very nice and allowed me to have an early access to the pool in the morning in order to go to the pool, go back to the villa and return for breakfast in time. We were very kindly accompanied by car on our arrival and helped with the luggage up the stairs.

The service at check-in was first class, and we were given a lot of important information that helped us make the most of our stay. The staff in the restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful
