Encosta de Louredo by Pousadela Village

The location is absolutely beautiful, with wonderful views from the house. The house itself is spacious, with two comfortable bedrooms. Breakfast and the spa are located at the main hotel, which is about a 10-minute drive away. We would happily stay here again! I would recommend arriving early for breakfast, because many dishes are no longer replenished after 9:50 once they run out. However, you can also order omelettes with different fillings and toast.

There are no towel hooks in the bathrooms, and it would be nice to have some basic kitchen essentials, such as salt, sugar, and cooking oil. The biggest downside was the remote control for the entrance barriers. The first remote we were given didn’t open two of the four barriers. We went to reception to ask for a replacement, but the second remote also failed to open all of them. As a result, we had to drive back and forth between the houses and the main hotel several times before finally receiving a working remote on our third attempt. It would be great if there were a more convenient way to resolve issues like this, without guests having to make multiple trips to reception.

Everything was excellent. The property has amazing views, great facilities, and a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing in particular. Everything met our expectations and we had a very pleasant stay.

Fabulous location, breakfast, and pool.

The beds were surprisingly uncomfortable. Extremely hard main bed, almost like sleeping on a box spring, and the sofa bed was almost as thin as a sheet.

The location is unsurpassed! Infinity and indoor pools are gorgeous but not very warm (solar heated) so did not spend too much time in the outdoor pool. Extensive breakfast. Accommodation was well equipped, excellent shower and beds.

Breakfast choices were generally extensive but very limited for people with food restrictions (except lactose intolerance). I would recommend to indicate allergens on the food descriptions as well as having options for people with food allergies presented and clearly labeled at the buffet. Since this is a specific question in the check-in information provided several days before arrival, we hoped that food allergies would be accommodated more. For guests with gluten allergy, these small things can make a huge difference.
