Tybee Beach Club 136 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo located mid-island on Tybee Island, and is a great choice for couples getaways! Enjoy one of the best views in this building based on your top-floor location. The condo is very spacious for a 1 bedroom at over 950 square feet so you will have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay.
The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living area and offers a nice breakfast bar. You'll enjoy the bright and airy living area which has a Queen Sleeper Sofa bed for any overnight guests and dining area for four. Sliding glass doors lead to a private balcony where you can enjoy the ocean breezes and the park-like atmosphere of the common areas of the most popular condo destination on the island. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, and the adjoining primary bathroom offers guests a jetted tub and an enormous walk-in shower which is sure to help wind down a long day at the beach.
This condo is located on the third floor of the Tybee Beach Club building of the Beachside Colony Resort complex and includes access to the three pools, two covered garage parking spaces (unassigned), beach access, and an on-site restaurant, The Deck. The building has elevator access. You will be located right across the street from Memorial Park featuring a playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, and the Library and YMCA.
Beachside Colony has just completed an all-new expansion of the pool and patio area. Enjoy 2 brand new pools, one with a beach entry tanning ledge, all-new restrooms, and lots of space for guests to enjoy soaking in the sunshine on beautiful Tybee Island!
Beachside Colony offers pool heat between the months of October-March. Pool heat is available in one pool only and is heated based on weather and mechanics and is not a guaranteed amenity.

This property is in a great complex. The photos are accurate and the view is spectacular. However, we had a problem with the shower that was not resolved to our satisfaction and our experience with the property management company, Tybee Vacation Rentals (TVR) was frustrating.
I used the shower the first night and the built-in shower seat fell off the wall. My arm was bruised as I broke my fall. I immediately reported the incident to the property management company. The next day their maintenance person removed the seat from the shower floor, placed it in the cabinet under the sink, and said the shower was fine to use. I spoke to the property management representative and explained that I felt unsafe using a shower that had no grab bar or anything to hold onto. I asked to be moved to another unit in the complex. The answer was no. On our own, we found another property in the complex that was available. However, TVR would not refund our money so that we could take that option. I asked to escalate my concern to the property owner. The answer was no. I asked if they could provide a shower chair for safety. The answer was no. In the end, the only reason we stayed was because we sourced our own shower chair.
In full transparency, we were comped for the first night's stay and received some gift cards for local restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, the safety concern with the shower negatively impacted our vacation experience.
