I have stayed at many places over the years.I have been going to Rio since 2002.I have set up trips for my clients to Rio many times.So,I have seen the good, the bad & the ugly places .I wanted to give this place a break once I returned from Brasil and I just looked at the ad it still says the same things.It says but their is NO Oceanview ,Seaview ,stove ,balcony, safe(it doesn't lock) yes Ac but only in the bedroom..The owners or parents of the owner .They don't speak any English.The father greeted me & he was nice and the mother does the emails.The son Ramon talked to me on the phone.I found this odd .Since they knew my Portuguese was not that good.If the person that shows you doesn't speak English & you have to do it all on the phone it is a pain in the ass.But I felt with it .I found that a lot of things were not correct & were misleading about the about.Later since they didn't change their ad.They were just lying about many things.They are very vague about things in their pictures.I had asked before I had rented to see the complete stoves photo of the bathroom lit ,photo of the balcony, photo of ac in the living room, photos of Seaview and Oceanview etc.. They had problems with camera and would send after I had booked and they knew this was a last min trip for me & I needed to go ahead and get a place.Normally all of this would been a red flag and would not of rented the place.The place is a small 1bedroom for one person or a couple maybe one other person can sleep on the couch .But it says seven people.No way unless you want sleep on a concert floor .The apartment is on the third floor.I normal at least the seventh or higher because of street noise & yes their is street noise in the living room in the day and some at night.The apartment fronts in the middle of an intersection.The bedroom has an ac is older & needs have the filters cleaned but it does work.No ac in the living room and they had a small fan.I was burning up.So,I bought a second fan.Some nights there is a breeze with windows open .My Brasilian friends said it was hot.The stove thing pissed me off.No stove.A hot plate that doesn't work & they know there is no stove .I bought a lot of food to cook for me and girlfriend from Brasil & I had to give it away.I brought up these things to Ramon and he gave bs excuses and said the ad needed to be updated but the reviews were great.The reviews must be from his friends with all the lies .I could of had a oceanview for a little more. :(

I´ve read all the reviews before I rented out this apartment, and I knew I´d be welcome by amazing hosts - Ramon and Rita. What I cannot find words to describe now is how nice the apartment is in real life! Such a good decoration! I´m an artist myself and I felt very inspired! Muchas Gracias! Obrigado!

O apartamento e super bem localizado, tem realmente tudo em volta (padaria, mercado, farmacia, etc). Muito fácil ir para qualquer lugar, é apenas 3quadras da praia caminhando. O Ramon foi muito gentil e prestativo. Seus país nos receberam e nos fizeram sentir realmente em casa com sua simpatia. Dica, se vc quer ir ao Revellion em Copacabana, este é o lugar... Está a poucas quadras do palco (que está em frente ao Copabana Palace Hotel). O local também nos fez sentir super seguros. Fomos informados que os proprietários estarão colocando um novo sofácama logo. Como muito bem me disse o Ramon, estacionamemento em Copabana é um problema sério. Recomendamos este apartamento sem problema. E pretendemos regressar no futuro.
