Great location available at a decent price to spend New Year’s Eve. Our previous apartment canceled last minute so we found this one.

Only one of the three A/Cs was working properly. So my husband and I had to sleep with a fan. They could not get anyone to fix it during the holiday. So did not sleep well at all. It was hot!

Dirty & Annoying to deal with

Good location close to Copacabana beach, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc. Great view of Cristo Redentor from the bathroom. Washing machine and place to hang wet clothes. Well-functioning air conditioning, especially in the living room.

Check-in process was a mess and the person who takes care of the apartment attempted to give us a dirty apartment. My father had to talk to the cleaner to do additional cleaning, which then pushed back check-in time significantly (check-in at 4pm but cleaner did not leave until after 6pm), cover on the coach and sofa bed in one of the bedrooms were nasty with stains and looked like they had not been washed in ages, bathroom is essentially in the kitchen, poor quality pots and pans (Teflon pan was ruined and dangerous to use), we booked the apartment for 6 people but apartment was only prepared for 4 (booking.com's fault as I contacted them days before our arrival to correct booking error) and when our additional guests arrived there were no linens or additional pillows for them. I contacted apartment owner for additional linens and pillows, but did not get a response until the next day. We ended up leaving apartment 2 days earlier for a hotel due to all of the above issues. The apartment owner then sent me an irate message in all caps about leaving early. Worst booking experience with booking.com to date.

Best bang for your buck ever!

I loved the access to quick food. Beach was a couple minute walk away. You can see the Christ the Redeemer from the bathroom window. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine which definitely helped. Also a water purifier so you can refill your bottles. Saves a lot of money.

It's pretty loud. Even 11 floors up, the windows are thin and you're in a city. So be prepared. Also the wifi router was terrible. Constantly dropped. I updated the settings and it did better. Also showed the host and she was going to replace it. Wifi doesn't reach the back bedroom if router. Ot on the table.

A complete apartment at the heart of Copacabana.

The owner responded quickly to inquiries, and tried his best to speak in English even if doesn't speak the language. I conveniently paid half of the bill through PayPal, and the rest in cash upon arrival. I was given the numbers of the caretakers who met us, and it was convenient to speak through WhatsApp days before our arrival. Everything went ON smoothly when we checked in. They don't speak English, so I recommend you to download Google translate app. The apartment was excellent. It was clean, spacious and had lots of appliances for us to use. We especially liked the the available pots, pans, utensils and appliances like microwave oven, coffee heater, drinking water filters, and sandwich maker. Cooking was enjoyable in their kitchen. There was also a big washing machine with 2 laundry hangers. The rooms were spacious with complimentary towels and blankets. Each room had air-conditioning and electric fans. The location was perfect. It's very close to Copacabana Beach, with nearby restaurants, supermarkets, and specialty shops. Everything was within reach. The apartment building was well-secured with 24 hour security and CCTV cameras all over the complex.

We could have given it a perfect score if not for that defective bathroom door. It's a sliding door made of wood panel, connected to rollers near the ceiling. My mother got trapped at 1am screaming that she couldn't get out. The door rollers got stuck and we had to forcefully kick the door several times until it opened. As a result, we had to always keep the door slighty opened as to not lock it, as it may get stuck again (it happened several times). I sent a WhatsApp video to the caretaker who just said he will have it fixed but nobody came until we checked out. The water heater wasn't strong enough. We had to endure lukewarm showers.

Excelente departamento

El apartamento es excelente: está en muy buenas condiciones y completamente equipado con todo lo necesario para preparar cualquier comida. Siempre se mantuvo impecable y muy limpio. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo y a metros de la playa, lo que lo hace muy cómodo para moverse y disfrutar. Además, el edificio cuenta con vigilancia las 24 horas, lo que nos dio mucha tranquilidad al salir. Cuenta con todos los servicios que un turista puede necesitar, y el internet es rápido y estable, ideal para quienes trabajan de forma remota. Laura es una persona muy amable y una anfitriona excelente, siempre atenta y predispuesta. Sin dudas, volveríamos a elegir este lugar. Te felicitamos Laura!

Muy buen lugar

Todo estaba cerca, fue muy cómodo y limpio la anfitriona muy muy amable, la verdad es que volvería allí siempre, en la recepción también fueron súper amables, en general una muy buena experiencia 💚 el agua de la ducha calientita, tenía colgadores de ropa las camas eran muy cómodas clóset con mucho espacio, la cocina bien equipada la TV con plataformas como Netflix y otros.

Departamento luminoso y amplio en Copacabana

El deparatemnto es muy luminosos, esta en un piso 11, de las ventanas se llega a ver el mar. la zona cuenta con muchìsimos comercios con lo cual es facil para hacer compras. tambien esta entre dos calles con mucho transporte. Es muy muy còmodo amplio, con una TV enorme. Wi Fi muy bien. Cerca tambien tiene a unas cuadras el Metro. Las camas son muy còmodas. Y en cuanto a la cocina tiene mucha variedad de utensillos.

Rio de Janeiro es una ciudad maravillosa, pero como toda gran ciudad hay que tener mucho cuidado con los arrebatos callejeros y en la playa, en todas las zonas. cuidar las pertenencias. salir sin cosas de valor que se vean. Esto no tiene nada que ver con el departamento que fue muy bueno. Solo es para alertar a los turistas.

Perfeito, confortavel e muito bem localizado. Tem o necessario para uma estadia curta e talvez uma maid longa caso precise. Utensilios de cozinha o basico que funciona no dia dia. Volto com toda certeza a alugar esse espaço para uma nova viagem futuramente.

TODOOOO!!!! Un lugar excepcional, cerca de todo. Departamento súper cómodo y con todo Lo necesario para tener una gran estadía. Utencillos nuevos y de primera, habitaciones y camas limpias y de primera, a una cuadra de la playa la cual se ve por las ventanas de las habitaciones y del living y el cristo se ve súper clarito desde el baño. Hasta un dispenser de agua fría o natural al servicio para no tener que gastar en agua embotellada . La anfitriona que decir, súper amable y cordial. Atenta a todo. Tenemos el lugar en favoritos para volver... Nos quedamos cortos con los días. No lo duden, el mejor lugar en Río de Janeiro

Apartamento maravilhoso, confortável e muito bem localizado. Mas o que eu mais gostei, pasmem, foi que o wc tem vista para o Cristo Redentor!

Para grupos maiores, talvez só ter um banheiro seja um problema. Para nós, não foi.
