Cozy Family Cottage at the Lake

Második alkalommal töltöttük itt a nyaralásunkat, rendkívül meg vagyunk elégedve mindennel. A tulajdonos nagyon figyelmes, segítőkész és látszik, hogy szívét-lelkét beleadja a család, hogy a vendégek remekül érezzék magukat. A ház tiszta, a retro érzés (hamisítatlan 70-80-as évekbeli igazi balatoni nyaraló) keveredik a modern megoldásokkal). Minden megtalálható, ami a főzéshez, grillezéshez, koszos ruhák mosásához (gyerekeknél ez fontos) vagy egy kis pihenéshez kell a kertben (a két új napozó-pihenő szék isteni). A kert teljesen zárt, kis öreg vaksi kutyánk is elkóborolgatott biztonságosan. A tavalyihoz csak annyit tennék kiegészítésképpen, hogy a strand is sokat fejlődött, a közeli bolti és éttermi árakon még mindig nem lehet észrevenni, hogy a Balatonnál nyaral az ember. Csendes, nyugis utca, minden elérhető 1-2 perc alatt. Szerintem jövünk még idén, de jövőre szinte biztos! Mindenkinek NAGYON ajánlom! Kedves Tamás és a Család! Nagyon köszönjük ezt a csodás hetet, amit Önöknél tölthettünk másodszorra! Rendkívüli munkát végeznek, csak így tovább! 😊❤️⛱️

Jól felszerelt apartman, minden eszközt megtaláltunk amire szükségünk volt. Szuper helyen van közel a bolt, étterem, strand. Nem túl modern de az elvárásainknak tökéletesen megfelelt.

Hideg/meleg víz ellentétesen van bekötve a konyhai és fürdőszobai csaptelepen. Fűrdőszobai csaptelep túl rövid és a víz éppen hogy a kézmosóba folyik.

Let me just start by saying that we had a wonderful Easter at this lovely cottage near the lake :-). It was truly refreshing, to spend these few days in nature, without the usual city crowds and the noisiness that comes with it. We got to wake up early, take it slow, and listen to the birds’ singing whilst we enjoyed a cup of coffee on the terrace. The lake - which is just a 2 minute walk from the cottage - is calm and beautiful this time of the year / although a bit too cold for swimming! And, oh, the village is just so nice to walk around in - it really allows you to re-energise at your own pace. Thomas, our host, made sure that we had plenty of supply and we appreciated the bottle of Hungarian rosé wine waiting for us - thanks for the nice touch! Overall, I can confidently say that the cottage is fully equipped with everything you may need, whether it’s a short stay or a longer one during the summertime. And, if you were to run out, there’s also an all-year-round, well-stocked supermarket you can go to - it’s just a 5 min drive! As for the local supermarket (called ABC), this one opens in early June / and the many restaurants as well as the ice cream shop near the beginning of May. Then, lastly, I also want to mention how easily it is to access the city centre of Siofok (basically, the capital of Balaton); it’s really just about 10 minutes by car, and once you arrive you’re immediately met with a variety of restaurants, shopping facilities, and - most importantly - a beautiful park and promenade along the shore. I’m glad we got to have this trip, as it wasn’t just a recharging holiday but almost like a spiritual journey. So! We’ll definitely return for a longer stay - hopefully sometime during summer or early autumn. Thank you for having us.

No comments :-). The cottage even has super speedy internet and streaming is also offered if you want to have a chill and cosy afternoon/evening indoors.
