Great location, tight fit

The location was great...parking is tight, but it is there. The walk to available areas is excellent. While the kitchen has several items to use, it is not convenient to go get tableware in the area stored in another room.

We ran out of toilet paper? That was a bit frustrating. When I asked the host, there was no response. The kitchen had inconvenient storage of items such as tableware. No staples, which are typical, such as salt and pepper...coffee and tea, sugar, and a "welcome basket" with crisps and biscuits, have been more typical when we have booked. Also, ONE garbage bag supplied...the provision of items was too thin, especially for the booking price. Also, there is too much furniture in the tight bedroom spaces...I would rather have a luggage rack than dresser drawers to unpack clothing. TOO many repeated messages: We received multiple messages of the same message from this booking, which was also unusual. There was no personal message from the owner and no response when we had an issue with NO toilet paper. While we like the location, I would probably not return, knowing that other properties provide more items to make the stay more comfortable and user-friendly.

parking space is virtually inaccessible - 8 point turn required in small car to exit. unit not serviced during 8 night stay requested sheet for bed - still waiting no toiletries provided, one roll toilet paper , no bin bags, 3 dishwasher pellets. not topped up no recycling instructions too much large furniture in lounge blocks access

Compact pleasant accomodation in accessible countryside but only a short drive to the bigger towns.

The property was fine - however, everything is packed into a small space which we were ok with for a short stay but the allocated parking place needs to be wider to open the car doors.

13.5 tog duvets were too warm. also need more hooks and hanging space for clothes in the bedrooms please.

very noisy upstairs tenants. They like music throughout the day when we popped back in you could still hear it blaring away and into the evening, Very little soundproofing. We drive an SUV and car parking was very tight but manageable.

Nice apartment for a few nights in the countryside

Great location with good country walks close by and a very short walk to the village. Plenty big enough for two people. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need including a washer dryer. Clean and tidy. Good messaging about where to collect the keys etc.

The shower didn't work unfortunately but there was a bath. Missing a couple of small things like extra loo rolls and cleaning products. A couple of bulbs out in the living room.

An exceptional place to stay; very clean, comfortable, and convenient.

It was self-catering, so there was no breakfast. The accommodation had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The location was great for traveling around the Lake District and it was very convenient to walk in to the village to the pubs and stores.

The shower was great but for some reason we couldn't get the hot water to work in the kitchen and bathroom sinks, so we just used water from the kettle as needed. The duvets were nice but got rather hot at night so it would have been good to have a top sheet as well.

This is a very well appointed property with plenty of space for 3 people. Very easy to take walks directly from the cottage.

Broadband wasn't working when we arrived, but the owner had this fixed by BT the following day.
