32 Cruachan Lodge

It was a nice lodge with plenty space for 3 guests. We had a great week away relaxing. It was a shame to see the lodge not getting looked after properly. It was located in a nice quiet surroundings we went to visit places close by. I have been to these Lodges years ago and would recommend them to people I know.

I think the Lodge needs a bit of work done in it. Some of the wallpaper was coming off walls the curtains could have done with a good wash. The stairs up to front verandah weren't very steady. We had to use this entrance as the side entrance did not have a rail. The chairs round the table were needing repaired not very steady. The blinds were missing slats. I would like to recommend they try and do a wee bit of repair work before letting it again.

It was easy to collect, but have to pull the key box down to open, should know how to operate took me around 5mins to figure out

Wifi is bad, bedding was ok not great

Internet - we were unable to access the internet. The details on the welcome pack need to be so much clearer. Instead of this hand written it should be typed out. I would say that this was the only issue

Location was okay, close to local amenities and major road network. A good base from which to explore the local attractions, cities and countryside.

The lodge was a little tired and care worn. Whilst basically clean the carpets and upholstery could do with a professional clean to remove staining. Bathroom extractor fan didn't work.
