We had a fantastic stay in Westwood Cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage, perfect for our short break in Aboyne. Great location and the cottage was cleaned to a very high standard.

A comfortable retreat to return to..

The house is very well situated for exploring the Cairngorms,Balmoral etc.The house is well appointed especially the kitchen .All good for a comfortable visit.Terrace and summer house nice places to sit after a days walking.2 great reserves close by to enjoy . Brenda is a good host making sure we had everything we needed.She left us wine bread,butter and pots of Jam and Marmalade a nice touch.Thanks Brenda.

We would have liked a 2cnd toilet /cloakroom. Otherwise all very satisfactory

Beautiful cottage and very well equipped, lovely welcome pack. The cottage was spotlessly clean. My only comments and they are comments and not complaints and certainly would not stop me from staying again - double bed felt small especially when we are used to a king size and shower gel would have been nice touch (probably because I forgot mine). Thanks to Brenda for an amazing property - just beautiful

Brenda was brilliant letting us come early due to bad weather , we had a lovely stay and would recommend highly.

Great location and very private , lots of space for kids to run around and modern house.

The only thing that wasn’t 10/10 was it would have been nice for the TV to be a smart TV so streaming services can be played on the tv from a phone or tablet etc.

Excellent clean and comfortable cottage with everything you need

Excellent location approximately half along the Deeside road which makes it superb for exploring Deeside but also only about an hour or so away from the East Coast. Plenty of private parking for a number of cars Also good location for visiting Aberdeen City. Excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay again when visiting Deeside.

A wonderful holiday, staying in the perfect cottage.

Everything! The host was wonderful and gave us some advice on the area. We also had a welcome hamper on arrival which was fabulous. The cottage was exceptional in terms of comfort, cleanliness, facilities and design. It was in a lovely area and excellent for sightseeing across Royal Deeside. We had a fabulous holiday being based here.

Fabulous 4 day stay in Scotland

Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 2 young teenagers, everything we needed for our stay in the Cairngorms was provided

No complaints whatsoever, Aboyne was very quiet but thats what we were looking for. A Co-op and a restaurant a short walk / drive away.

Everything was of a very high standard, comfortable and immaculately clean. A very thoughtfull welcome essentials hamper of very good quality and a lovely bottle of wine & chocolates. A beautiful property very well looked after , great communication and lovely welcome from the host. She really is doing a fantastic job

A true home away from home with modern design, privacy and conveniences.

This was truly home away from home. Large modern home with large kitchen and dining table. Beautiful garden type yard and privacy. Easy and plentiful parking right at the doorstep. Good Wi-Fi. Host Brenda went above and beyond to receive our COVID test kits and put them in the cottage when they arrived for us. She was able to give us info on where to drop them when completed and also helped us with identifying local resources for groceries, etc. Really appreciated the in-house large laundry room.

Home from home

Everything. Wonderful property had everything you needed with lots of extras. Especially loved the spacious kitchen which had a lovely large table and chairs. The three sofas were very comfortable and one sofa was a double recliner what a bonus. Great outdoor space Lovely paved patio area with table, chairs and BBQ and we made good use of the fantastic summerhouse in the front lawned garden.

The only thing I would comment on was I think it would benefit from a larger TV screen for the size of the sitting room.
