The property is lovely and has everything you need, easy access and clean, situated in the middle of Ambleside and Bowness so short drives to either town and you can also walk from the park into troutbeck and up wasfell across to Ambleside or through other way to Windermere.
The master bedroom Mattress, the mattress was super thin, so extremely hard and assuming it’s memory foam as that has created a ridge down the middle.

Location was perfect, right on the lake and also easy to drive to different areas. The lodge was so homely and lovely to come back to for those cosy nights.
The only downfall was the Wi-Fi connection didn’t work which isn’t always a bad thing if you’re digital detoxing. But when we wanted to watch films on Netflix or on tv at night there wasn’t any connection for it and there wasn’t any DVDs to put on.
