A quiet and peaceful spot that’s very cosy

It was looking a little worn and tired - some stains on the furniture and one or two items a little scruffy and past their best

Enjoyable except for the poor heating system.

Beautiful location.

The heating was very hit and miss, it came on at odd times plus rarely hot water for the shower and only tepid for washing up.

Modern bathroom with walk in shower, a good size. Nice size bedroom,

Looks very tired in many areas. Bedding (not the sheets/pillowcases) but the duvet/pillows old & stained. Clean, but yellowing old towels.

Nice cozy little cottage to stay in while we explored the lakes

The views were excellent

Could have been a little easier to find with a what three words in the directions since most sat navs take you somewhere else, other than that, no issues

Cosy apartment for winter hiking

Cosy, warm apartment - really nice to come back to after a hike. Perfect size for the two of us and well-stocked kitchen. Fantastic central location in the Lakes!

Situated in a courtyard of the hotel, so no views from the apartment itself, but the grounds are beautiful.

Disappointed with the cottage lack of basic property care !

Quiet location - access to the lake

Heating and hot water system inadequate. Damp and leaking skylight in the bedroom. Musty and damp smell in the bedroom . Dead flies in skylight covering. Dead spiders . Generally poor maintenance and cleanliness.

Great location if heading either to Keswick one way or Windermere the other. Very quiet and tranquil

Good location.

Place was clean without being stellar. Sparse kitchen. Could possibly have provided a microwave and toaster. Shower was difficult to adjust hot water. Bedroom rather dark, little light. Directions were very poor. SAT NAV directed us to at least 1/2 mile away. If directions had said ‘Head for the Dale Head hotel’ we’d have found it in no time.

Good

Lovely location on first floor rooms with well-equipped kitchen area and comfortable bed

We needed to learn the technique to get hot water for the bath - and the shower temperature was quite variable. The bedroom does not have good drawer space for clothes. There are not views of the lake from the house but instead views of the main hotel building.
